I always found it strange that many found unopened bags in their bulk purchases.

Why would it be that so many people failed to at least open the bags even if
they didn’t build the complete set.

However I have found exactly the same thing now in a few recent purchases, mixed
bags from different sets.

It seems that it is common practice not to open all bags before giving up.

Very strange.

I shouldn't think so. Only one of the bag #3’s is from this set

It depends why it was bought. Maybe for the minifigs or specific parts, so some
bags are left sealed.
