I have a small refund (.12) to issue to a buyer and it won't process. I receive
the error "Something went wrong. Please try again." Trying again does nothing.
What is the probem?

Store: Browns Super Brick Store
Take out any special characters and spaces from the explanation box. For some
reason it won't take them but once removed the refund will go through.

Same problem here. I tried removing all the text from the explanation box but
still get the "Something went wrong. Please try again." message. Any other advice?

For some reason I find that if text is entered the first time and an error is
caused it seams the on-site refund dosnt work for that order even if the refund
text space is emptied.

Try removing all text to process the refund to see if the error goes away. If
that works you can go back and try to add new text something short without too
much wording.

refund see BL msg

If that doesn't work I would just process it leaving the explanation box
blank and send the customer a message.

I have the same issue. It doesn't matter what I input to the detail box -
even if I don't enter any text. The refund is not processed.
Does anyone has a solution for this? Thanks so much!

Send a message to the help desk. If you have taken out all characters, cleared
the box back to empty and still it is not working I don't have a solution
without seeing what is happening. The refund process via BL is frustrating,
I know!

You can send a refund to the customer using Paypal but you probably won't
get the BL fee refunded - at least the buyer will have their money.

Does anyone know if the helpdesk is able to refund BL fee's if the refund
has to go thru PP?
