I'm setting up my new shop and my inventory is logged and I'm waiting
on approval to be a verified seller. In the meantime I want to make sure I'm
setting up my shipping appropriately.
I copied some forms for pricing and updated them for the current price increases
at USPS etc. I set the first class mail in 4 oz increments and added flat rate
boxes.
My question is how does it work? Does BrickLink have the weight of the individual
bricks imbedded into the inventory and when someone orders it all adds up and
gives you total weight? Then you have to add in the packaging?
I'm used to selling on Etsy where you manually enter weight for each item
and then the buyer chooses shipping based on the weight you entered (weight of
item plus shipping materials).
How do they know if it fits in a small flat rate box vs a large flat rate box?
I'm just confused about how all of this works. Do you get a pending invoice
and then update the shipping prices accordingly before submitting the final invoice
for them to pay?
