| I've noticed that when I alert a seller to small errors in an order (missing
items), and let them know that they can reimburse me for just the price of the
items "if they wise," they don't engage in dialogue, they don't reimburse
the items, AND they leave no feedback.
Most of the time the cost of the missing items is so small that it doesn't
matter financially, but an acknowledgement of even the possibility of error would
be great. So why the radio silence & no feedback? Do I really need to keep the
status at "Received" to expect someone to do anything (which still probably wouldn't
get me feedback).
Thank you to the sellers that leave feedback after I pay, and those that reimburse
for missing items.

Because some sellers are inadequate when it comes to communication. Their attitude
reflects in their selling and the way they deal with customers as well.
On the other hand, it personally irks me getting orders that I dispatch within
30 minutes to a few hours of me receiving the order and the buyer leaving no
feedback. I haven't had a word from my past 7 customers, but oh well.

Customer service isn't everyone's cup of tea...
If you order in my shop I'll try very hard to make an error so you can see
how some of us take really good care of our customers !!!

This is not usual behavior for sellers.
1) Are you sending the message through the contact link on your Order Detail
page? This is the best way to get a seller to respond.
2) Are these big, busy stores or a small hobby shop? You can look at their feedback
to determine if they have been leaving any feedback for buyers at all. They might
just not leave timely feedback in general, and it is not related to your particular
transaction.
3) While a seller can change an order to Completed, it is much more common for
sellers to leave that option to buyers. I would never contact you just because
you left your order status at Received.
Good luck with your future purchases!

If they don't respond, least favourite them. If they don't care over
mistakes with cheap parts, they probably don't care about mistakes over expensive
ones either.

Yeah, I get this a lot too. Most of the time I just say to the seller not to
bother reimbursing or re-sending (some still do though, and they're the really
good ones), but the dialogue often does end there. No "Thanks and sorry for the
mistake" or any other comms. And no feedback, as you say.
But you can also withhold feedback too. Like you say "Received" orders don't
necessarily make any difference to a seller that doesn't care. Just mark
the order as "Complete" and move on.
