Hi,
Does anyone know how or if you can put plates/bricks onto tiles in BrickLink
studio 2.0, I have seen it done but am unsure how.
Thank you,

The dedicated forum for Studio and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/
(hover over the red Studio icon on every page, then click “Studio Forum”).

Please search the forum for your question before posting a new one (the search
box is in the very dark grey banner).
There’s indexes of known bugs and suggestions that you can browse first:

As for your specific question, you can put pieces anywhere you want… it’s just
that tiles’ top don’t snap / connect to anything, so you’ll need to move your
pieces on top of the tiles with the translation tool (select part, hit 'T'
or with the WASD keys.
