| My fig
* | | twn356 (Inv) Child - Girl, Bright Pink Striped Shirt with Cat Head, Medium Lavender Short Legs, Medium Nougat Braided Hair Minifigures: Town |
has a cracked torso, one the front and one on the back.
It's from the Corner Garage set.
I just have it displayed (not in the sun) and while putting it in a different
place I saw the torso was cracked.
Has anyone tried to get something like this replaced? I was really surprised,
I don't know of anyone complaining about the Bright Pink color being susceptible
of cracking.
What do you think? Has anyone else had their fig crack?
TIA

You should try.
My experience recently, in trying to get a replacement for a broken part, started
out not so good, but ended well. First they sent me an email claiming I did
not pass verification, which seemed a bit ridiculous since I had purchased the
set direct from LEGO and it could easily be verified. I suspected that they
found I had a bricklink account (although I have never been a seller) and thought
I was going to sell the part (it is not a cheap or abundant part). I replied
asking what verification I had failed, and asked why they did not trust me. Then
they sent me the part right away, for a part that was showing as being on backorder
for replacement, with every set containing the part being on backorder.

I had this problem with Zane from the titanium dragon. I was able to get a replacement
by sending them the serial number of the part, as well as a verification code
that i think is in the instruction manual of the set.
