| I placed an order on August 27 that hasn't shipped yet. Sent a message asking
the seller for an update yesterday. Nothing yet.
This is my first real problem with a seller, so I'm not sure about what my
next action would be.

I paid immediately. This is the first time a seller hasn't shipped to me
within a week.
The seller received a positive feedback today from another buyer praising speedy
shipping.

| The seller may have shipped your order, but forgot to change the order status
to "Shipped". I did that on an order this week myself.
If the seller has a good feedback record, and usually ships in a timely fashion,
then it is just too soon to start worrying.
Give the seller a chance to respond to your message. If you don't hear anything
back by Monday, then ask again. If still no response, then you have other options
available to get the sellers attention.
The above advice assumes that the seller has good feedback, that the item was
not a high priced item, and that you paid with Paypal.

I would even say Tuesday - Monday is Labor Day (a federal holiday) in the USA.

| Check store terms. They are all different. If we receive your order on
Friday after we've shipped for the day, your order goes out on Monday. That's
in our term though. Some sellers don't work on weekends, some do. In our
experience most buyers and sellers on BL are excellent people who simply share
the same passion. If the store is in good standing you can pretty much bet that
they will pull through for you. -Andy

Can you share the first 3 digits of the seller's ZIP-code ? That will give
us a clue how close they were to the area affected by Hurricane Ida.
