| Hi guys,
I am trying to issue a refund and I keep getting the message "something went
wrong, please try again." (image attached). I keep trying and it keeps not working!
Im I making a mistake? Any ideas?

Refund the payment through PayPal and then update with the refund button on the
order details page.

Refund the payment through PayPal and then update with the refund button on the

Thanks for the reply.
I am not sure what will happen if I do that becuse of the IOSS VAT that bricklink
need to refund?
If I refund him through PayPal they will only get my order value and not the
VAT that bricklink have charged\collected. I could give the buyer that too but
I doubt I will be able to get that back from bricklink? Or will PayPal sort that
all out too?

I think that after you update the refund in BL, the VAT is returned to your PP
acount. But before that, try submitting the refund again but withut the period
at the end of the note text.

I was getting the same message earlier today. I’ve used it several times in
the past with no issues.
