| Why is it the custom pictures end up sideways on custom sales posts? Is there
a fix?

Just cancel and repost your sales announcement with the correct orientation.
Keep your pre-upload file width at or below 640, no restriction to height.

In other words, size the pic file width before uploading, so that it isn't
done in the upload process. See if that works for you. If it does, let it be
known in the forum for others.

Thanks I am just not sure how to go about doing that. I do much of this on my
phone. I'll look into it.

Something like this used to happen when people were posting from an apple device.
Can you give some more specifics or a screenshot or something?

I believe there are different ways to rotate an image. Some involve adding meta
information to the file (indicating rotation) and some involve actually rotating
the image as it's stored. What you're describing sounds like some software
(when it was originally being rotated) used the meta data method (possibly incorrectly)
and when it was uploaded the server software either didn't respect the meta
data, or it did not understand it.
Software like PS or GIMP, should actually rotate the image.
