I d/l instructions to build the 10230 set but can't determine the position
of several bricks.

In book 1, page 10, step 17, can anyone tell me the correct position of the 2-3010,
2-3622, 2-3004, and the 2-47905 reddish brown bricks.

Thank you

Jim

This might be a better scan than you're using. Those bricks appear to be
stacked on those from the previous step.

That is the scan I am using. It is reddish brown on reddish brown and my eyes
are too old to see the position for the bricks, but thank you for the reply.

Yikes, I have the same issue. It might be possible for me to puzzle it out with
a hard copy, but not here.

Lego should really consider using white lines for seams with dark bricks in general,
not just black. I recently got my younger son the Avengers Truck Takedown

Set No: 76143 Name: Avengers Truck Take-down
*
76143-1 (Inv) Avengers Truck Take-down
459 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2020
Sets: Super Heroes: Avengers

and I had a very difficult time with all the dark blue.

Thanks for the recommendation. World Brick site is much clearer to see the positions
for this and probably other steps.

There is also a video shown at worldbricks.com (your step is at the 0:25-0:26

The two 1x4 bricks are right and left of the front 1x1 round brick, then the
1 x 3 bricks after those and finally the 1 x 2 bricks touch the back 1 x 1 round.

If need be I can edit a pdf, just let me know.

I recently built the bonsai and at some points it was a nightmare, I had no clue
where some pieces were supposed to go, like for instance one step adds three
round branches at the top of the tree (just before you choose the foliage) and
there are only two arrows. The third branch was virtually invisible, even with
glasses.

Then I used my phone camera, with the zoom, on the instructions and it was so
much better!

And yes, these were original, recent, paper instructions, with light background!

Well, it works with an Android phone, but I can't guarantee you it
will work with an iphone

You're welcome.

I'm sure it's a trick to make us move to digital instructions...
