| Hi, this is my first time posting on the BrickLink forums. About a year ago I
ordered a set from this site from a seller not from my home country. I paid through
Paypal for the set and the seller claimed to have shipped the set. Here I am,
one year later, still hoping the set is going to arrive. The order was purged
so I do not even remember the seller or how much I actually paid for the set.
I can not dispute the charge due to no longer having that paypal account. So,
I ask you fellow members is there anything that I can really do? Can I somehow
viewed purged orders? If anyone could point me in the right direction I would
really appreciate it. thank you! any questions on my situation please let me
know.

Sadly, after 6 months, there's nothing you can do either with BL or Paypal.
except maybe contact your buyer. Good luck.

First of all, wow.
Second, you don't think the order notification and payment confirmation are
in your email somewhere? You don't have the communication from the seller
where they 'claimed' to have sent your order?
Paypal disputes are limited to 90 days I believe.

You can see what you paid by going here:
https://www.bricklink.com/orderExcel.asp?orderType=placed
and entering a date earlier than the default (it will default to six months but
you can go back earlier). You won't be able to see the details of what you
ordered, but you will be able to see the total cost of each order, and maybe
that will help you determine what you paid and who you ordered from. But beyond
that, I'm not sure anything can be done about it.

File a missing package with USPS. It's a long shot, but you never know what
might bubble up to the surface.
Check the feedback of the seller, to see if others have reported problems. If
the seller is no longer registered, that might suggest you were scammed.

If you used thr Bricklink message system to communicate with the seller you might
have some details too.
