Yep, it seems that my first paypalclaim is coming.

Order of 482 euro's.

Order shipped 22th of june. Arrived at customs in the USA the 24th of june and
is stuck there since. I have allready asked the buyer of being patience because
there could be massive delays and asked PostNL at my side to do an investigation.
Asked the buyer to contact customs in his country.

Buyes said its almost a month, we will put in a paypapclaim. Buyer has 32 feedback.

I think this is not the way to do business, it is wrong from me to ask for a
little more patience?

What do you think??

I don't think it's wrong - it hasn't been "almost a month," it's
been 20 days.

Stuck in Chicago, I presume? I have several international orders waiting there
for over a month, some close to two. It's completely normal right now unfortunately.
Show the buyer this post, maybe seeing others are having the same problem will
show them the need for a little patience.

I've actually disabled international shipping for now because of this issue.

I have informed the buyer about this thread, hopefully he wants to read it. Never
lost a parcel of this kind. Would be my first.

If the buyer opens a PayPal case, you have 20 days to "resolve" the issue with
the buyer. If the buyer escalates the case to a claim, you will have a certain
number of days to respond (I believe 10 days). Respond on the last day allowed.
Then PayPal has a certain number of days to review the case (I believe 14 days).

Hopefully the package starts moving again before PayPal's kangaroo court
adjourns.

WE paid EUR 85.80 for shipping which is enough for fast shipping, You use the
slow shipping method, You should be ashamed for this ,you have to take responsibility
for this issue.

I assume you are the buyer? Then let me tell you currently everything is getting
stuck in Chicago way longer than normal. It's very possible they used a faster
shipping method but it's still getting delayed. I have many packages stuck
in Chicago for over a month that normally get delivered in a week or two. These
are unique times and we must be patient.

i be ashamed? As you can read there are massieve delays

Oh, and slow shipping? It was in the USA from the Netherlands in two days! And
then it was stuck. Nothing to do with slow shipping.

How exactly is a seller supposed to take responsibility for delays?

Bad, bad, naughty slow mail. Shame on you.

The last I heard, there are ports all over the world that are struggling with
major delays. There are even containers from ships that may sit for 6 months
due to a multitude of issues (much of which probably stems from the pandemic).

Here's one such article of likely many:

The sellers shipped with PostNl, the national postal service of his country.
It is known to be very reliable.

  WE paid EUR 85.80

You paid Euro 85.80 because PostNl charged Euro 85.80. What part of this is the
seller's fault?

which is enough for fast shipping, You use the slow shipping method

Have you done a research on all services that PostNl provide? Based on your comment,
it looks like you know there is a cheaper option that is slow but for Euro 85.80,
PostNl ship with a super fast shipping method. Can you show me a link to the
various shipping methods of PostNl and their costs?

You also have tracking and checked that the parcel reached USA within (about)
2 days. Since then it sits in the customs of USA. You know that but still think
this has something to do with the shipping methods of PostNl!

You should be ashamed for this, you have to take responsibility for this issue.

I am not sure if you have plans to order from other sellers, but other sellers
read the forum and will decide to stoplist you or not. As a buyer, my experience
on Bricklink is that most sellers would do their best to provide the best service,
however they avoid unreasonable buyers at all costs.
I don't have any control on what other sellers decide to do but you can check
in your profile if you are stoplisted by other sellers or not.

In my opinion that is not okay. Delivery times have increased massively and often
even if the packages arrive in your home country that rest in customs for a while.
If the package is tracked you can even see it.
I personally had a letter now waiting for three weeks in San Francisco (16th
of June to July 7th) at USPS after travelling through the US and suddenly the
status switches to be in customs in Frankfurt, Germany.
The seems to be a similar case.
I would you him/her to be patient. If the buyer does not believe it he/she can
watch my feedback history and contact me
Hope your case has a happy ending

I have a package that went to USPS on June 11th and just got released into Canada
yesterday. Phone the postal service and open a inquiry on the parcel. Than forward
that information to paypal.

Depending on the service the customer purchased, you may also be able to get
a refund and pass that on to him.
