I'm trying to remove an item from an invoice.
Invoice status is "Updated". (The buyer added to the order)
The invoice has not been sent to the buyer yet so, of course, it has not been
paid.
When I go to the "Order Item Removal Request" page I enter the invoice # and
get the options to delete or reduce the quantity of the items.
In the "Enter Changes" step, I enter the change I want and then select "Verify
Changes"
On the "Verify Changes" page I then select the "reason:"
When I go to click "Submit Request" I get the following error...
HTTP Error 404
404 Not Found
The page you requested https://www.bricklink.com/retractOrderItemEdit.asp was
not found on this server.

I tried both deleting the item and reducing the quantity to zero. I also tried
selecting different "Reasons". Nothing worked, I get the same error message.
I'm using the onsite payment method with manual invoicing.
Any ideas on work arounds or suggestions???
Thanks in advance!

Having the same issue here.

A buyer accidentally ordered a lot of 500 of a part but only wanted a few dozen.
It was a manual invoice and manual payment.

The buyer got the 404 Not Found error when he tried to submit the IRR and I tried
everything you did but I can't get it to complete either.

I've reported it to the help desk and will keep trying to submit it but the
order's been paid for and I want to send it off. We settled on the buyer
adding the quantity he wants to the order and I've put a credit on the invoice
for the lot that he doesn't want and will refund the difference.

Is the payment status changed to none?

In my case it was a manual payment and neither payment or order status was set
to paid.

The buyer didn't update on their end, so payment status was 'not yet
paid'. He contacted me about the mistake before I had a chance to update
the order status to paid, so I left it at 'ready' so he could add to
it.

For me, the status was updated (not invoiced or paid). As the buyer added parts
to the order. I ended up doing a credit and shipping the order after payment.
I have to say that I’m part of the growing number of people really disappointed
in Bricklink’s practically non existent customer service. I appreciate the fact
that we have a marketplace for our hobby and/ or business but if there was an
alternative, I’d change in a second.

I've received confirmation that it's a known issue but there's no
ETA on a fix.In Technical Issues, co2Bricks writes:
