| Wow, I just opened my Typewriter:
and found the Axle 32s:
and they are all warped and bent.
I guess these will work better in this set:
as flower stems.

Was trying to find the PDF instructions, but it's so new they might not have
them uploaded yet.
How are they used? Are enough of the connectors with axle holes slid over the
top of them to force them to realign?

| Here is an image of the first page of the instructions where they are used. Them
being bent all over the place made it fairly annoying to build. However, they
end up being completely encased and there appears to be no problem with the model
from all that warping.
These axles do feel VERY bendy. I would only consider them a close cousin to
the black axles from older sets like this one:

Might well be colour-related: those Sand Green axles are not for real Technic
use (no torque).
(The same way they only do the new small balls in DBG and the new small ball
sockets in DBG or LBG.)

| I recall from a few years ago my big ben set (10253) had a problem with the black
32x axel. I had to order a new one from Lego because it was too bent to work
in the clock mechanism.

Must be the new plant based raw materials...
Since it's plant based you might be able to put it in your salad with some
Balsamic and croutons
LEGO has worked so many years to perfect their plastic formulas to become less
brittle and have less issues with color; Hoping we don't have to go through
sub-par parts with the switch to sustainable materials, also wondering how those
materials will hold long term in comparison to the tried and true.
You could probably still complete the build and it'll align once it's
built.
Good Luck.

Well, for sure these are not brittle.
Mostly my worry was about how it will affect sellers opening these sets to part
out. Could you imagine if I sold someone those axles New (as they were) and the
reaction I would absolutely receive from my buyer?

Totally understand the concern on one hand, on the other hand; it'll probably
be an issue most sellers selling this piece are going to face so an extended
honest description noting that they were bent out of the brand new box should
alert buyers to the issue, people will still buy it.
We make similar extended descriptions on pearl gold part where the color variance
runs a spectrum. same for sets where the box isn't in perfect condition.
As long as you put an honest extended description you should be fine, it helps
set the expectations and avoid misunderstandings and if buyers really care they
will ask for picture or move on.
If you don't mind, we'd love to know if it affected the build at all;
we'll check this thread or you can always let us know by PM if you don't
mind.
P.S: we posted about how the shift to different raw materials impacts the weight
of the parts- that should concern sellers who use weight and counting scales
as they're jeopardizing sending wrong counts to buyers if they don't
address the issue.

Yes, the weight was the first thing I checked! They were all very close to 4.75
grams. There is a 02/4 molded on one end and a barely discernable (at 5x magnification)
@LEGO at the other end.
The model is going just fine once these were encased. I should have the inventory
for BL well underway by tomorrow.
