Trying to sell my entire store as I do not have the time for it anymore and it
has been closed for almost 2 years.

Is there an easy way to make my entire store a superlot?

Also I have a bunch of sets that are not in inventory that I was going to sell
separately. I got stuck on the upload image part of creating a "bulk lot" item

Store has a "current inventory average" value of 153k and sets have a "current
inventory average" of 60k, looking to get 75k for both or 30k for sets and 50k
for store OBO.

Any tips would be helpful

Thanks,

Joe

You can create a custom item with your entire store at a fixed price if you aren’t
interested in negotiating the price. As I understand them, a super lot wouldn’t
help since anyone wanting to buy a single item from your store would automatically
be on the hook for US $75,000 worth of merchandise 😅

You are better off with what you just did, a forum post advertising the sale
from where people can reach out to you privately if they are interested.

I’d start by setting the selloff price as the minimum buy and reopening the store:
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/mystore/management.page

Using any or all of these fields, Slogan ~ Announcement ~ Banner to convey
your intention with the high minimum: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/mystore/display.page

Opening your store places your inventory back onto the market, giving you more
exposure, allowing 24/7 perusal of your inventory and greatly increasing your
ability to cultivate prospective buyers.

In the meantime, you’ll no doubt generate offers to consider with your inventory
exposed with selloff caveats. Don’t drop your pricing, until you have structured
a deal.
At which point, close your store and set it up, transacting with
a close store and password.

Just one of several ways of doing it, Joe.

I would use the Banner field, too: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/mystore/display.page

It's far more visible on all product pages of your store, and difficult to
miss or ignore. The Announcement field text, on the other hand, is small
on the page periphery and can be dismissed or collapsed.

I see that you're using the Banner field now, good. However, you can
increase the text size by using the macro tags shown in the screenshot below.
H1 being the largest moving down in size by increasing the number value, i.e.
H2 ~ H3

You are the best!!!!!! this should have solved any problems I have. I might even
just close the store up, not sure if anyone is looking at inv that way, most
people are contacting me from a different website where I just uploaded a bsx
file.

Thanks again!

You might want to place that "/" in front of the H" at the end there in your
picture. Computers are finicky beasts.

Nope. It's how I've always done it. And how I tested it while taking
the screenshot for the OP. But will do it again for you. Checkout my store banner

Niek is right, what I see is that my browser is correcting your incorrect code.
These aren't macro tags like you would put in a drive thru email, they are
HTML tags.

The joys of browsers trying to correct errors in HTML. Certain "classes" of errors
(which most browsers try to correct - with various success) are called "tag soup":

Help me out here, Niek. I've always (for years) written the tags as shown
and they've worked as intended when viewed from my end. But it's because
my various browser used have been correcting the error all these years?

That perhaps others using other browsers may not have been seeing what I intended
all this time?

If so, don't I feel a fool...

It's possible but I'm guessing it looked fine on the most widely-used
browsers. Your H1/H2/etc. tag would have been closed automatically because it
was nested.

Yeah, I don't really understand this last paragraph of clarification, considering
the code as written, worked as intended. Not only for altering text size but
other things such as boldness, spacing, etc.

For myself, I'm gonna leave it as somewhat of a mystery for now. Got other
things to manage at the moment and my brain handles only so much reasoning at
a time, these days

Thank you, both you and Niek, for taking the time to offer the heads-up and attempt
to education. Very much appreciated.

Yup. Your end tag is in fact a syntax error. If browsers were to strictly follow
the HTML specs, they should throw an error and "give up"on rendering the page.
Especially in the earlier days, when pages were written "by hand", this would
cause a shocking amount of web pages to fail - not very user-friendly.

That perhaps others using other browsers may not have been seeing what I intended
all this time?

The type of error here is a syntax error. Any browser will simply throw out the
malformed tag. The remaining surrounding HTML code will then show there is a
missing closing tag (a _very_ common error), and the browser will slip one in.

  If so, don't I feel a fool...

Nah. People are not fools because they don't know something (just because
I don't know how to do open heart surgery doesn't make me a fool). You
did something, result was as you expected, so naturally your way of doing was
correct. And in this case it still is - it gets the job done (with the help of
friendly browsers). It was just me being pedantic.

Niek.

Well, to be honest, I _did_ teach quite a bit back in late 1990 - early 2000.
I was a fully licensed Microsoft/SCO/SuSE/RedHat/Symantec instructor, doing one-off
low-level network security courses for the DoD and the NATO in the Netherlands
(including some hacking stuff - that always made people "oooh" and "aaah" - fun
times). Then things became too "main stream", new "instructors" got licensed
because they didn't make enough mistakes on their instructor's exams,
they only tried to regurgitate the course material (I had to take over a few
classes because the so-called instructor was so bad), so that kinda killed the
fun for me.

And here I am, doing first-tier help desk support fixing printer connection issues.
Oh well. At least it is way less stressful at my age.

I did this on purpose because I started getting orders even though I have a 50k
minimum buy, once I agree with someone on price I will change payment methods.

Sweet thanks!!!! This does seem like the best way to do it. I will be working
on that now!

Just FYI you don't have an Onsite payment option enabled for USA buyers,
which limits who can transact with you here on BrickLink.

Thanks,

Joe

You could contact Brickmania and see if they want to buy a large portion of the
store. They're the biggest buyer of parts on the site and only go for new
lots.
