time I try to login. I can login through the browser. I can't download sets-

As for your question, there’s been this announcement some time ago: https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6480
In short: older versions of Studio can’t communicate with BL anymore. (And newer
versions don’t work on older Macs.)
