| Hi
I received this email via my personal account. I’m not sure if the buyer didn’t
understand to use the BL email. I’m not sure if I’m comfortable with this request.
Should I just cancel the order?
Here it is:
“I wanted to request a favor regarding this purchase. It is being sent to a suite
that manages and consolidates packages prior to international shipping.
Normally no action is necessary, however I've recently found out that my
country passed a stupid import rule that only 10 toys can be imported per person/year.
Given the price and the fact that they're all minifigs it should be a problem,
but if the customs agent considers each individual minifig as a separate "toy",
I will not be able to receive my minifigs.
Is it possible to include an invoice that instead of detailing each individual
minifig, just comes sealed as a "Minifigure Set" so that the whole "set" is counted
as ONE toy and not all the individual ones I've purchased.
You don't need to change the total value or any of that, just packaging them
as a single set would be a great help.
Thank you so much in advance.”
Any advice is appreciated, Pam
I Got a Meatball store.

| Customs forms are the worst, the small change doesn’t open to any scam I know
about, especially since they told you to keep the value and everything else intact.
I’m regularly receiving packages from Canada in the US, and the customs form
always look like:
1 x Building Toy
No matter the number of lots/parts and I’ve never been in trouble. Granted, it
is about a different country but it should be no different.

I don't know about other platforms, but when filling out a customs form on
PayPal, it only allows you to specify the weight of the items in the package
in whole numbers of ounces. So, unless you are only shipping large items like
baseplates, it is pretty much impossible to specify the exact package contents
on the customs form.

| I’ve received international packages mostly with hand-written custom forms, it’s
even better if PayPal can edit them as they are a drag. I personally charge US
$2 extra for international orders since the first I’ve received because of the
added administrative burden, but I wasn’t using PayPal label printing at the
time.

With PirateShip one can also give a number of items in addition to the weight
but yes, being precise is still not really possible

|
| I list all my lego on customs forms as "plastic toy part LOT" so I don't
have to inventory each piece
I see nothing wrong with this request.
