| I got this email from PayPal today, and I don't like benefits being taken
away. Since being with PayPal for years I have always had immediate access to
my funds. Never really had any problems with paypal, but have heard the horror
stories. Did anyone else get the following email or know the lowdown. Thks
EMAIL FROM PAYPAL:
Funds Now – Important Update
Dear
We hope that you enjoyed the benefits of the Funds Now program but, unfortunately,
we regret to inform you that this program will cease within the next 60 days.
We are continuously evaluating the services we offer and have decided to retire
Funds Now and to replace it with an improved program which will launch in the
near future.
Further details will follow closer to the launch date including the benefits
and eligibility for enrollment.
Thank you for being a valued customer.

Perhaps PayPal is moving towards the Alipay model in which the money isn't
transferred to the seller's account until the buyer confirms that they have
received their goods/services or until a certain amount of time has elapsed.

| I didn't know what the PayPal Funds Now program was, and now I'm disappointed
it's going away even if I probably never actually benefitted from it.

| I also received the email. It does say the "Funds Now" program will be replaced

| If it is anything like the new Lego VIP program, then the 'improved'
program will be "funds eventually."

IDK about it being a"benefit" that I care about. It appears that not enough people
were in a hurry to get instant funds (for a fee payable to PP) vs the standard
free funds transfer so PP decided that it wasn't in their best interest (pun
intended) so they cancelled the program ...wait for the new and improved PP
money making scheme

not your bank account: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/funds-now

PayPal Funds Now gives you immediate access to funds in your PayPal account,

You are correct ...I was mixing it up with their other program
