I've managed to add 5 items to the catalog but now I cannot add more. When
I click on the Add Item to Catalog button it says "The page cannot be displayed
because an internal server error has occurred." Is there a limitation of 5 addition
per user / day or something is messed up again?

The problem was caused of setting 0.55g for weight instead of simply 0.55
It would be cool if an error message showed up intead of the internal server
error
text which could mean anything.

Agree.
There are many more fields where input values are not checked against the required/allowed
values. But changing it would be another story given the fact that large parts
of BL code were made in the nineties of the previous century.

As a programmer myself, I can imagine the headaches this is causing to the admins.
