| So, after selling a few sets on BL, I wanted PayPal to update my Full name to
comply with the local bank policies as to redraw 2000 USD of funds back to my
bank account.
What happened was not what I expected:
The message I sent through PayPal messaging got deleted (woosh - no trace anymore)
and instead - they RESTRICTED my account, asking to submit proof of last
6 transactions, tracking codes, purchase invoices etc.
I really don't get it why they are taking such an actions 
Anyone had similar issues, and how can this be resolved?

| I'm sorry about that, I believe you unintentionally sprung a possibly automated
fraud trap and you now have to go through their hoops to prove your request is
legitimate. PayPal can do this because you have a strong incentive to retrieve
the money.

If you were a criminal and managed to hack into someone's PayPal account,
what would you do?
If you were PayPal and wanted to prevent people stealing money from other peoples
account, what would you do?
In my opinion you acted as a criminal on your own PayPal account and PayPal is
protecting your money to prevent what seems like a theft. You should send the
requested documentation and thank them for protecting your money

| Submit the documentation requested. You won't have access tio your money
again until PayPal is satisfied.
Don't keep large balances in your PayPal account. Sweep the money out on
a regular basis. That way, if something like this happens you only have a small
amount stuck in limbo vs $2,000.

I had to submit several docs and proof and the account was cleared after 24 hours.
Noted on not keeping too many funds on PP
I am learning as a newbie
