| Hi everyone, I hope you're having a good start to the week.
I've spent the past three days parting out the ninjago city gardens set into
my inventory. When I pressed verify items it took so long to verify that bricklink
timed out, meaning that the parts weren't added to my inventory and all of
the data I had entered (my remarks, prices, quantities etc) were deleted. As
you can imagine, for a set with 5574 parts, losing all of my remarks is a real
pain.
Now whenever I try to upload the set again I have the exact same problem. Is
there a way I can solve this?
Also does anyone have any advice for parting out big sets? I know that some people
use third party websites, but I've never had a problem before when parting
out a set so I've never looked into those.
Any help is much appreciated, Stan.

I am wondering if perhaps the Inventory Note on these problem sets needs to move
to the Catalog Detail page.
"Due to the massive number of lines in this inventory (1000+), the BrickLink
system may time out during the partout process. If this happens, you may wish
to part out the set in two different halves."
There are too many similar Forum questions to indicate that sellers are finding
this information.
Also, how jealous am I at everyone parting this set out! What a project that
must be.

Hi stan i find that if im parting out a really large set, i do it in 2 or three
blocks so i list the first half by input .
my locations and prices then put a click into the delete box for the rest of
the kit. Then delete the first part once ive reloaded and list the second part
much less for the system to deal with and less stress and heart ache for me.
| out a set so I've never looked into those.
Any help is much appreciated, Stan.
