| A while ago I listed this set in Used - Incomplete status
Today I received the last missing part to mark it as complete. I changed its
status (and its price!) accordingly, and I was wondering if there was a way to
re-issue an item notification for what it essentially a new listing?
Or do I need to delete this one and create another with the same information?
I might not be bothered to do so and I would understand if it's frowned upon
but I was curious about it.

No there isn't - it's based on the lot number and can only be sent out
once for each lot.

Yes - do this. I don't think its frowned upon for a change of the set status.
There was a seller who very regularly deleted everything in their store and re-uploaded
it as all new lots. That was annoying and probably frowned upon. Not sure if
they still do it as I went through and turned off email notifications for most
of my wanted items.

Not really official.
Just based on you changing its status and price.

This would be a very contentious policy (if it were so) as it could, at least
in theory, cause notifications to occur every time a lot quantity decreased due
to a sale. Currently, to the best of my knowledge, notifications happen only
once per lot. It happens when the store is reopened (if closed when the lot was
created), or when the seller requests notifications to be sent (and then only
for lots pending notification). Changing a lot, does not meet the requirement.
Now, having said all this, there is nothing to prevent an app from deleting a
lot and recreating it under a new lot ID. It might actually be a valid move,
if you took a retained lot, from quantity zero to having quantity again, or if
you significantly increased the quantity in a lot. Merely to troll for notifications,
would be bad form.

| I pretty much changed everything (description, price, completion status) in the
listing except the quantity, so I'm not sure how it is relevant to my original
question?
