What do y'all do when the tracking says it was delivered but I never received
it? I am somewhat new to brick link.

Either it was sent to the wrong house or someone stole it. Thankfully, it wasn't
an expensive order and can be replaced easily yet annoyingly.

But what do you do with the order in my cue? Mark it as complete? It isn't
the stores fault I didnt get it.

Thanks,
John

I had this situation. Tracking stated "Delivered", but is wasn't. I could
prove that nobody was home. There was also no delivery signature.

A good seller will refund you and if not, ask PayPal to step in. You paid for
something you didn't get, with no proof that it was ever delivered. It's
not the seller's fault, but it's not your either.

Seconding this, the Seller is responsible for the package and its content until
it's been received and verified by the Buyer. This is why sellers will charge
a little extra for insurance above certain order totals, in order to still get
their money worth even if there is anything wrong with the package.

Unless it's delivered for a signature, the tracking data should be regarded
as unreliable. I've had a LEGO.com FedEx order marked as delivered but it
must have been delivered to a different building. I personally took on me to
redeliver a couple FedEx packages that ended up in my building's package
room by mistake, they were addressed to different house numbers on the same street.

In my country no package is ever signed on delivery, either from LEGO or from
a private ebay/bricklink/brickown seller. It's just weird to me.

I'm surprised this wouldn't be part of any country's national shipper.
I know first-hand this feature exists in France, the UK and the US so I expected
it to exist at least in the remaining Western countries.

Still, I'm not signing many packages myself, one of my LEGO.com order was
recently misdelivered and they just shipped back another set to me so it seems
signature delivery isn't worth the hassle for large companies that can just
eat up the cost of an additional set if there is an issue with a package.

For LEGO it is a grain of sand on them, for a private seller losing a 200$ set
can be enough to swallow years of profits.

It's true, and this is why BrickLink Shipping methods have provision for
insurance. I personally charge a small insurance fee above $50 total order.

Talk to your local post office. Tell them that the package was delivered, and
you do not have it. Speak to your neighbors in case a sub delivered it to the
wrong address.

We've had things delivered to the next street over, but same house number.
Postal service is bad, getting worse. Also, if the carrier is overloaded, they
may mark them delivered one day, but may not actually deliver until the next
day.

My FedEx driver has a real problem between the numbers 2 and 4 apparently. My
kind neighbors always redeliver my packages promptly. My postal carrier drops
a different neighbor's mail at my place which I redeliver. I have email and
phone contact now with the same house number one street over so we can exchange
when needed. At least we are all getting a bit of exercise...

Go in person to your local USPS with the tracking number, they can easily tell
you exactly where the package was delivered. Good luck.

I had a similar issue a few months ago and even though I understand it's
not the seller's fault, I did not really appreciate that they didn't
try to help with USPS, stopped responding to me until I left a neutral feedback
and left me in return a neutral feedback that I find hilarious and more damaging
to them than me.
USPS has no accountability, at least toward buyers/recipients...
Good luck.

It isn’t their personal fault but they still are financially responsible, and
there will be friction with any seller who didn’t get the memo.

Thank you for your good spirit, for what it is worth in this case you are entitled
to a full refund and could have started an NSS alert/Paypal dispute against this
seller.
