| Hello everyone,
We realize that we made a mistake. Truly, we apologize to everyone, especially
to those that would like to retain the integrity of the friendly place these
forums are, and rather than adding to it, we took away from the ambient. We behaved
to confidently, and as we saw, we too had many mistakes. We wrote our message
to add to the community, to warn our fellow buyers and sellers, but in doing
so we took-away. We'd like to apologize for the use of duplicate accounts
- we honestly did not know that we couldn't have multiple accounts, we give
our word on that.
We are a "we". We are several people. We came across Bricklink and decided that
we could cooperate to manage one store, just as we would in real life. But, each
of us also had older accounts on Bricklink that we wanted to use solely for "shopping"
and making wanted lists. This account was designated as a seller's account.
However, we admit that we have committed trouble, and now we understand why there
shouldn't be multiple accounts. Although it did not cross our minds to commit
more treasonous things with these duplicate accounts, no one should be able to
do any of that, so we thank, in some way, that this happened.
As to those that gave us feedback on our store policies and responsibilities,
thank you. We have implemented some already, and we have removed the "All sales
final" and No refunds.
Once again, we are sorry for taking away, for we thought we were contributing
- we believe that we came off the wrong way in our message, and further so when
we, out of anger and impulse, decided to defend ourselves. We promise to do good
by everyone as so our capabilities permit us to do so, and perhaps we will listen
and ask more rather than talk and point.
Everyone, we understand that this apology may not be acceptable to many of you,
but we have no excuses. We made a mistake. We want to make up for it.
Thank you,
MKM Bricks

| I believe you've done the right thing now, how you run your shop and how
you use the forum in future will show how heartfelt your apology is, best of
luck in the future.

| I am sorry, I do not buy this.
You, or one of your associates, answered to (in fact) your own forumposts.
Not once but a few times.
If it is an associate it is really strange, they should recognize their own store/username
or the name of their friend, if it is you even stranger.
This, to me, looks like some kind of a mental problem.
So for me your apology doesn’t look to be an honest one, and even if it is an
honest one, your place shouldn’t be here. There is a large possibility of trouble
with you as seller and/or buyer or as a forum poster.

| I'm not disagreeing with you but in the spirit of transparency, it was another
account that replied before Russell merged the accounts.
So, if he wrote something and his friend replied, that would have been plausible.
In any case, a mess from start to finish.

| It wasn't meant to be a reply from a friend, rather a reply from a stranger
interested to shop in their store. I believe it was a marketing stunt to kickstart
their store reputation. It backfired, but in their apology they only acknowledged
the multiple account issue, not the staged conversation with a "stranger".

You as well as I can express our opinion, but I believe the apology was the best
and maturest decision to deal with one's actions.
Their actions were immature and not worthy of being a seller but their response
to being caught was the appropriate one.
Luckily they were caught red-handed and the truth came out quickly.
This should be handled by the admin and we should move on.
I am not taking a side. I am only expressing my reaction to your reaction.

words and actions. We are trying to be a friendly and helpful community here.

I'm still waiting for a newly registered account to reply that, as they have
now apologized, they are clearly an awesome store.

| Even without knowing that you couldn't have multiple accounts for a single
store, answering your own announce by an associate to claim how great your store
is and how they would be ordering soon doesn't look good.
As a result, this apology leaves out the most deceitful part of your behavior
and so rings pretty hollow.
The silver lining is that you can only improve from there.

There's was no need for a formal public apology, you're just drawing
more attention to you and drawing more critics. You're not behaving lie someone

Maybe you should refrain from posting for a while...

| I am hopeful that your apology demonstrates some realization of the poor start
you have made and that it leads to diligent effort to do better.
What does worry me is how anyone could have got the idea that that duplicitous
little charade would be a good way to generate sales. You've followed a poor
example from somewhere, and I'm sure it was not here.
I don't need to hear any further apology or explanation. "Handsome is, as
handsome does" they say. The best thing you can do now is to work very hard
to show yourself an honest seller who contributes to Bricklink's positive
reputation, or if you can't do that, just withdraw and try your hand at something
else.
