This is one of the weirdest things I've seen in the catalog and I'm super
curious what is is and when it's from. How are there so many for sale in
a spectrum of colors? Because it looks like the kind of thing that would be hard
to find, like this part:

[p= bb0973]

I noticed both of these parts' catalog numbers have "bb" in them, so I'm
guessing that has something to do with it, but what does it mean? And how can
I find more parts in the catalog like them?

Once up a time (yes it's one of those stories) there was a need to create
catalog entries for parts which had no visible design-ID on them. So the usage
of bb (as a prefix) came into being. We had no clue how else to assign a number
to them.

Most of those are almost definitely incorrect listings by people trying to find
the regular 4073 entry, especially considering they're mostly in recent colors.

Anyone have any other info I’m still trying to figure out if this is legit

I think both replies are valid ones:

Doesn't that help?
