Hi

I've found a reddish brown 1x1 jewel 24 Facet (30153) in a recently acquired
job lot. It looks genuine but I can't find it listed anywhere.
Any ideas?

Regard
Kev

Without images it's hard to answer. I would compare the facettes of the jewel
with a transparent one and check the color with other reddish brown parts. I
couldn't see any markings on ours so this is only an indication of it being
legit.
I don't know if other brands make similar jewels.

In conclusion a definite maybe.

I used to have about 10 years ago, trans-black ones from clone lots that besides
the color, I couldn't tell the difference.

I've compared the facets to other colours and they look identical. The colour
is also an exact match to reddish brown so I'm none the wiser!

it's possible. Pieces are made in colors that "don't exist". I know of
someone who collected star wars blasters in all sorts of colors that technically
shouldn't exist (trans, lime, orange to name a few).
