| Hello
Question, about adding some additnal change on a minifig in a set.
I'm starting to sell some old sets, in this case 2 sets of 7171.
I have seen that in both sets minifig SW0017 doesn't have DG color hips but
LG Hips.
Both Sets are original with boxes en inner boxes.
So the first one I didn't understand why Jar Jar had different color legs;
but on parting out the 2nd the same color so my guess is that Jar Jar SW0017
also
can have LG hips.
How to proof or change/add to the part list as adittional minifig?
Thanks & Keep Safe

Question for you... How can you be sure that they came from Lego that way? Unless
you had 100% control over these sets since new it is very likely that someone
changed the hips/legs (I lost track of what part you are referencing since you
mention legs and hips at different times) at some point over the last 20 years.

| Indeed ... that is my question
and sorry for my bad english, I will take more care in how I write things.
hips/legs ...
if you look at SW0017 .. yes hips/legs DG the to sets I have the fig has hips/legs
LG
So 2 old sets with the same differents as on BL ..
in my humble opinion no coincidence.
But If I want to sell them I will get a complaint from the buyer because it's
not like the BL partlist.
Thanks

So it is both the hips and legs that are a different color. Seeing as LG hips/legs
appeared roughly 3 times as often as DG on a mini-fig I would bet money that
they have been switched out sometime within the last 20 years. Simple solution
is to put the DG legs on those figs as the inventory shows.

If you are implying that the minifig has been incorrectly listed for the past
20 years, and considering it was an early entry into the BL catalog, I kind of
doubt it. It is more likely that the copy you have has been tinkered with, since
you don't have absolute provenance on the figs. Why don't you pull the
instructions from some handy download, and see what they suggest the hips/legs
should be.

Hello Flanders Bricks,
If you have these minifigs from second hand sets these minifgs just have switched
legs.
You can check Google pictures and only see the old version of JJB with dark grey
legs.
Second hand sets are not reliable as a source, they are often played with and
parts are exchanged.
