I have noticed that, there is no easy way when using the auto select option on
wanted lists to compare it to the actual wanted list. Sometimes the selector
will get more than 100% of the parts needed and there is no way to see what parts
are being doubled up on. Also, when not all 100% of parts are located there
is no simple way to see what parts haven't been ordered so I cannot select
alternate parts. Basically unless I get a 100% match I cannot place an order
without either wasting money on parts I don't need or ordering an incomplete
model

Some valid points.

Would you allow me to "suggest" something?

Add a "suggestion" for the solution, in your post that's in the "suggestion"
topic, where you're asking other members for a yes or no vote. Just a
short expression of what you'd like to see implemented, is enough.

There's something else I've always wondered about, and maybe you (given
your username) can answer definitively for me: Are the inmates really running
the asylum?

Added a TL : DR to the end of the OP to simplify and clarify, and as for whether
the inmates are in control I have no idea, I am just sat in a corner building
lego trying not to drool on myself too much

Unfortunately, BL has spent so much effort fixing the website that they've
essentially broken it in my eyes. It seems like every time I'd start a big
project they would change how the wanted list worked or the available features.
In addition, they never provide a manuals or help guides on how to use the updates.

I was in the middle of the Technic Icarus supercar project when I finally had
my fill. I'm no longer an active BL buyer (I'll still buy a little here
and there).

Instead, I now spend my money on ebay for Lego sets.

TLR Please allow us to see what parts are missing from an auto select order
so alternate choices can be made
