A useful Price Guide feature would be price and sale trends in a graph. Similar
to what you find on Swappa (see attached).

This would be especially useful for new parts and minifigs as they settle into
their natural supply-and-demand averages. It would also be helpful to have a
visual on how prices for old parts behave when new sets hit the market containing
parts that haven't been available retail for a while.

Would love that feature. It's possible to get the information for the past
6 months by parsing the whole price guide page (catalogPG.asp, not priceGuide.asp),
but this generates far more traffic than necessary...

Looking back 2-3 years would be interesting too.

More than just that. How about not purge data 7 months old..... Is it really
that big of a deal to extend to a year or two?

Voted yes. That would really be helpful for... Well, the reasons you mentioned.
