| Why, oh why, must buyers have to enable this feature of their own accord? I have
them enabled in my store so that buyers can easily see their order weight. Yet
almost every day I get idiots who are too stupid and/or lazy to enable it on
their end as well. Can this feature not be a default 'on' when a buyer registers?
Keep in mind the average buyer these days has a limited attention span, is at
best of limited literacy, or does not have English as a primary language. This
is not intended to be an attack on anyone, it is simply an observation based
on years of experiences. It has gotten particularly bad of late.

| Many years ago my mother was an assistant manager at a movie theatre.
One night, somebody called up and asked "What time is the 7:30 show?"
So there have always been folks who are somehow unable to process information
right in front of their noses.
(I currently work at a movie theatre, and am sometimes amused by how often folks
will wander up and down the hall to find their auditorium - dudes it's only a
6-screen theatre! The auditorium# is on your ticket! The ticket-taker told you
what auditorium! There are glowing red foot-high numbers protruding out into
the hallway over the auditorium doors! Plus a 2-foot long sign showing the name
of the movie over each door!
Thank goodness I work in the booth and rarely have to directly interact with
customers!)

I feel you. I am selling odds and ends of stuff I have that I no longer want
on facebook garage sale pages. I post up photos, price, location, etc etc. A
few mins later they comment on my posting saying how much? Where are you located.
And like if I post 2 photos (like im selling a couple game systems with games)
they comment on one photo and not the topic, and say do you have photos of the
games. Everything they need to know is right there, all they have look and read,
and most times all the info is on the comment right above theres! lol And then
I get people that ask "does it work", no its broke and I want to pass the buck
to you. If it didn't work you would think I might put that in the listing. And
then I get these people constantly ask will you go lower. Or will take $20 and
I have it listed for $100. UM no. I have these NFL hats, brand new tags everything.
I only want $7 each for them and they are about $25 each new in the store (I
used to collect hats) and they want to give me a couple bucks each. They are
already a deal. Then I also get people, I post up a listing, then they say I
can get it cheap somewhere else. Nothing else just I can get it cheaper somewhere
else. Like what is the point of posting that on my listing. So I tell them, GO
BUY IT THEN. Just dumb pointless stuff. Waste of my time. I mean if they are
nice or want to make a fair offer I am open to listing. But these people are
ruthless and just don't read anything. When its spelled out clear as day. UGGG
My little rant over. The new South Beach Tow is on. Im out.............

Or calling up the church to ask what time midnight mass is. The one I really
like that I observed recently: Front desk clerk, "Would you like free Internet
access?", person checking in, "How much is it?". The clerk told me that it's
like this all day, every day.
Sigh...
