I love this site, but it is not user friendly to first time buyers. For instance
if I type in the word "Hogwarts Castle" I get ZERO results. If I type in "burrow",
The first thing I see is an empty box. "Hogwarts" I get torso's. I think the
search engine needs some major improvements to rectify this. Searching on Brickset
is honestly a joy, and it has predictive typing as well. I think that it should
work more like that. Also sets should be the default search result, not parts
or boxes. Front page needs a direct "Buy Sets" search. So people don't have to
go through the menu's. Don't get me wrong, it works very well for the sellers,
who are used to it, and have motivation to learn all the tabs, but not for newbies!

You are correct that the site, in its current form, can be difficult to search.
The standard search techniques used on the web should also apply to Bricklink.
This is a complex and very detailed database of items. Maybe the new Bricklink
web site will incorporate typical search capabilities.

In least what you have is better than old search was. Old was very hard to use.

But yeah we really need regular expression search engine. It would work much
better.

We also need keyword search. That way we can add keywords to parts that also
has nicknames, like cheese slopes for 1x1 slope.
