| It may just be me, but I find it very difficult to view the messages in the Message
view, particularly if there have been many responses. It is just too difficult
to find any message, one must sort through hundreds of messages.
Having the Topic view is helpful, but once you click on the particular topic,
it is just downhill from there as far as looking through messages.
I have seen many Forum websites with a more user friendly design. They start
out with a General topic and then are broken down into subtopics. Once in the
subtopic, each thread would be listed - and the messages relating to that thread
could be found by clicking on the thread topic, which is the subject of the first
person to post the message. Replies to that message would then be found under
the first message in a logical to read order.
An example of this more user friendly layout can be found at big-boards.com or
many other websites.

Have you tried the links on the bottom of each forum message page?

It may just be me, but I think this is a much better forum layout that the standard.
Check the my settings and 'click' around.
There are some not so obvious links, like the little word balloons next to poster
username; clicking that icon brings up all their posts.
Plus you can read the thread on a single page with the link below.
which produces this
http://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=122754&nID=591526
Personally I use compact and without replies so I can see all the posts and has
a reply count so you can see which are flaming out of control!

Don't change anything !!! This Forum is just good the way it is. It is much better
then all the "normal" forums.
Here you can decide exactly the way you want to see it. Just do your best and
see first how this forum works.

It's not just you, I find it to be poorly laid out and difficult to navigate.
Not sure why anyone would want to jump into the middle of a discussion by selecting
a reply that could be the 100th reply to a post.
It's the most outdated aspect of the entire sight, I feel like I should be
viewing it over dial-up.

I'd really like to see it migrated over to Discourse. Having said that, the
mere thought of 40-50 threads, all updating simultaneously, and all alerting
me of the updates, makes me want to run and hide behind a
