On sellers' My Orders Received page please add an optional column for the weight
of orders. The weight will be automatically input by BrickLink only if all lots
in the order have a cataloged weight.

I don't use these weights so much to invoice my buyers before picking and packing
their orders. But seeing the weight does give me an idea of the size of their
order and the size and type box I may need to pack it. It would also be nice
to have an idea of the cumulative weight of all orders I receive over time.

Agreed. But maybe just display the cart weight in red to indicate if not all
parts in the order have a weight associated with them. I constantly have to click
on the order details for each order and scroll to the bottom to check carts weights.
Every time I do it I wish I could just display it on the orders received page.
This would be excellent.

Yes, I like that.

I may want to again see the weight, after I get an invoice and see shipping cost.

I also wanted to do a comparison of shipping charges vs weight from the various
sellers.
But in both cases, I realized that once the order left my cart (and became an
order) I could no longer easily view the weight. Once I realized I had to look
it up for each item, to figure it out, I decided it was too much effort.

Just to clarify, this suggestion is for an optional column on the SELLER's Orders
Received page... NOT the buyer's Orders Placed page.

I'd actually have more use for it on the Buyer's page. It would help when I have
a few orders that I am still adding to.

As long as it is editable only by the seller so that revised packed weights will
also show up for buyers, OK. Kind of like sellers can now input and edit shipping
and other charges or discounts.

As long as said column would also be editable (is that a word?) by the seller
so that after the order was picked and packed we could enter in the actual weight
of the complete order with the packing materials. Because I could see buyers
looking at it and being like well the system said it was would only be 4oz but
you are charging me for 5oz worth of shipping what's the deal?

So maybe prepopulated with the system weight and then when you are entering in
the shipping costs you could update that field with the shipping weight, I could
see that being very helpful.

Right now I just go to the orders note field and enter the shipping weight of
each order so I can double check it if need be.
