I would like to have a 2nd Splash Page; shown if the store is closed.

with one exception: if a buyer has a password to open the store then the original
(1st) Splash Page is shown again.

this way the Splash Page shown depends on whether a store is closed or open (depending
on the store settings and usage of password).

This could be very useful to me (especially if we could enable our parts to show
in searches while the store is Closed).
