| The forum already has settings to ignore individual posters and topics. How about
one additional tweak to give users the option to ignore specific threads?
Rather than being given the choice of ignoring entire topics or everything a
certain member posts, I think it would be better to just ignore specific discussions
that do not interest users.

Or at least an explanation of why it cannot be implemented... I would welcome
a partial solution that blocks threads only with an identical "Subject" line.
(It leaves open the possibility of someone changing the text in that field and
having a blocked thread reappear. But that doesn't happen too often.)

To be able to mark an entire thread as having been read, would be almost as good.

I'd actually rather not see tweaks to the forums, but a complete overhaul. There
is just so much missing functionality, that adding this or that here or there
seems a bit pointless.
