It's a heck of a coincidence if it's not LEGO.

It has a bar that's the exact same thickness.
It perfectly fits studs on the bottom.
It's the same shade of white.
It's made of the same plastic as far as I can tell.

Quite the mystery!

Close but not quite the part I'm looking for. Here's the picture.

I've poured through the catalog but I can't find a particular part.
Apparently I just don't know the right words to find it. Perhaps someone
here knows the name and can help me out.

It looks like a fez with straight sides and a 1L bar on top instead of a stud.

They're not duplo, scala, or fake LEGO. We don't own any of those.
They're white.

They came with a set but I can't remember which one.

I sincerely appreciate the help!

Is a Non-Responding Seller or Non-Shipping Seller alert appropriate when only
part of the order is missing and there is no contact?

It sounds from the description like NRS is for when you haven't paid and
they haven't responded, and NSS is for when you have paid and they haven't
responded. Neither seems to fit this situation exactly.

Greetings!

I could use some advice on how to handle an order that has problems.

I placed a large order with many lots and a lot average well above what the store
required. When it came in, there were items missing, as well as similar but
incorrect items. If it was just a couple of items or a few cents in parts, I
wouldn't have minded.

I had someone double-check my inventory of the order to make sure I didn't
make a mistake, then sent a message through Bricklink to the seller. I listed
the missing or incorrect items.

I also mentioned some acceptable part substitutions in case the parts I ordered
weren't available. I figured everybody gets their inventory off sometimes,
no big deal. Maybe some alternates would be helpful. I'd also be happy
with a refund on the value of missing/wrong parts.

There was no answer. After a week, I sent another message asking for an update.
Then another. The messages haven't been read.

I reviewed the seller's feedback for the last two months and noticed a handful
of complaints with the exact same issue. Missing parts, wrong parts, and zero
communication from the seller. More than one buyer said their messages weren't
read, and one mentioned their messages were deleted without having been read.

What is a fair way to handle this?

How long do I give the seller to respond, given the circumstances and similar
complaints?

If the issue isn't resolved in some way, do I give them negative feedback
or "Report Problem" with the missing parts category? I really hate giving negative
feedback, but it seems fair that other buyers know what they're getting into.

I've never had a problem with a seller before, so I'm not sure how to
proceed.
Thanks for your advice!

(PS: In case anyone is curious about Ida, it's a good thought. This started
before the hurricane appeared in the gulf. We were out of power for a week and
the city's still a mess, but we're okay. The seller is far inland.)

Lately I've noticed more stores with multiple listings for the same item,
in the same color, in the same condition (new/used), at different prices.

For example:
NEW Black Brick 2x2 Quantity: 15 Price: $0.20
USED Black Brick 2x2 Quantity: 33 Price: $0.09
NEW Black Brick 2x2 Quantity: 8 Price: $0.10
NEW Black Brick 2x2 Quantity: 7 Price: $0.18
USED Black Brick 2x2 Quantity: 11 Price: $0.07
etc.

I can sort by Item Name/Color, Condition/Item Name, or Price.

Most of the time when I'm shopping, I wish I could see Item Name/Color/Price
and Price/Item Name/Color.

It would make it much easier to find the cheapest entry for a specific part and
color. It would also make it easier to notice if it's just a couple of cents
more to get New instead of Used.

This would be a huge blessing when sorting through disorganized stores. Thanks!

I did not. That will probably fix it, thanks!

I have a wanted list of parts I eventually want to get. When I buy one of my
"dream parts", I take it off this list, so I don't duplicate.

Most of the time, there are only certain colors I want for a part. I usually
don't want the pinks, purples, or neon colors, for example.

Adding a dozen colors of one part to my wanted list, skipping the colors I don't
want, is super tedious. Especially when there are many different parts I want
to add.

I don't want to add the part without color options, because then I won't
know that I already have Blue, Green, and Black but not Medium Nougat and Dark
Brown. By adding each color separately, I can remove the colors I just bought
and leave the ones I still need.

Select color, Add to my wanted list, choose a wanted list, set quantity, Add
to wanted list, wash rinse repeat for each color, even though I want the same
quantity and wanted list for all the colors I need.

Is there some way to get a list of colors and just click a checkbox next to each
of the color options I want?

Perhaps some other way to make this a faster, less tedious process?

Thanks!

When I log in using Google Chrome and check the "Stay logged in for this browser"
option, it's not working. It works fine in Firefox and it worked fine in
Chrome on my old Windows 10 PC (I just switched PCs).

Did I lose a setting when I switched PCs? Is there something I need to do to
get this working again?

Thanks!
