Before you cancel the classic Wanted List I have to register a complaint (uh,
sounds like the parrot sketch from Monty Python)!!!

The new Wanted List is downloadable, thanks. But the new Wanted List still
isn't printable. A function for this is needed.
And don't forget
to implement a printer- friendly design...

Works for me, at least when opening a catalog image... Firefox (newest version
avaiable)

Currently the user must either click the "X" on the window or click somewhere

Thank you,

Why? Nothing has changed, except the layout. The functionality is given...

In Suggestions, M.Boss writes:
Just today the Orders Received and Orders Placed layouts were changed, with no
announcement from Admins. I am suggesting that Admins make a forum announcement
when implementing major changes such as the ones today. The announcement would
serve as a place to give feedback to and discuss the changes being made. While
the roadmap is a good feature, no one checks it everyday to see if any new features
have been implemented. The Admin announcements would alert everyone to the new
changes being made, and if they were announced a day or two in advance with a
preview, we could give our thoughts about the coming changes, and not have things
change so unexpectedly. Bug fixes would not need to be announced, just the improvements
and new features.

Thanks for your consideration,
M.Boss

SUGGESTION:

In the "old" BL interface it was possible to print out the wanted lists.
This functionality hasn't been released in the "new" BL interface.

I would highly recommend that this could be implemented.

In a plain, simple, printer- friendly layout please...

As it is now the built in message system is near useless to keep customer contacts

And messages I send to customers through my regular mail client wont show up

So what if all users got a pop3 enabled mail-box with "username@bricklink.com"?

Me as a seller could simply add the bricklink messaging to my mail-client, and
any communication with the buyer through that channel would show on the order.

What do the rest of you think?

Regards from AE Bricks Sweden

The mailing system is good as it is now, because every "custom- related" mail
shows up in the respective order and can be "tracked" in that way. So that's
fine.

When you use the regular mails it is definitely your own problem. Why do you
think that the internal mailing system is "near useless"? Explanation, please...

Not an improvement.

Please bring it back, Matthew

I would suggest to rename "items" to "lots" in the Wanted List.

It is a little bit misleading when the overview says that a WL (as example) contains
"250 items" for a MOC when the real count is 1729 items in 250 lots.

This renaming should be made in the WL overview and in the WL itself.

THX.

I would suggest that the Auto Finder should ignore "multiples" of items during
his search.

Explanation: When I search for (as example) 44 1x2 Bricks in a specific colour
I get results including shops which have "multiples" (x10). This is unusable
because I'm forced to either buy 50 instead of the 44 and end up paying more
than intended or to buy 40 in one shop and another 4 in a second shop which could
result in higher costs.

There should be an option to deselect those stores...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 and Firefox installed; no problems...

Your response is, yet again, nonsense.

Can you at least attempt to understand the comment before responding? Admin
has already admitted that their world-class development team did not design the
site to be responsive to mobile browsers, and that is what this suggestion is
asking - to have this site be automatically responsive to the device you are
using (something that should have been a fundamental part of any professional
redesign in the first place).

I understand very well. And I'm currently writing on my tablet. So the site
is "usable" on such devices. So no "nonsense".

Who uses this site on a phone with a 4" screen? Have you tried the mobile site?
I guess not...

Since the website is now in another hands (since a certain amount of time now),

My suggestion is to keep this website clean, for the comfort of all members.
This is a important trait of Bricklink since the beginning.

Thanks

Just dont like the new layout.

Buying on BL isn't a fun experience anymore.

The constant pointless whining is becoming really tedious. You're not even
trying to be constructive, there's absolutely nothing BL can take from your
post. You did the online equivalent of stamping your feet.

I've bought 2-3 times since the new layout launched and I genuinely don't
see anything worth complaining about. The process was smooth and it had an obvious
flow to it.

If there are particular things you don't like or would like to see improved,
I'm sure they want to hear that. But saying "I don't like it, please
change it back" is about as likely to work as England were likely to win Euro
2016.

Voted "no" too...

I did 15 transactions since the change. No problems at all...

Hi Admins.

One *BIG* imrovement to the site would be that the items in the "Wanted List",
which are on status "fullfilled", won't show up using the "Wanted List" feature
during shopping.

For me it is a little bit frustrating that those items show up. I am forced to
manually edit out those items when using the "Auto- Fill" function.

Regards, JB
