On Rebrickable sometimes they have parts lists of builds within as set, in this
case they have the T-Rex, you could part out the whole set and then remove the
parts lists of the T-rex

38 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 1992
Sets: DUPLO: Playhouse

* Change 2 Part {Pink to Light Pink} 4121 Duplo Tile, Modified 2 x 4 x 1/3 (Thin) with 4 Center Studs

Comments from Submitter:
I unsealed this set a few months ago, but still have all or almost all the pieces. I will take pics of these pieces soon.

We have not split the pink color. That is classic paradisa pink, not Light Pink.

Why was the cloth part moved back? There is no Light Pink color.
56 Light Pink was cleared out to make room for Paradisa Pink/17 Rose. Sellers
already list that color under BL Light Pink.

The main issue is that there is no clear dividing line in the inventory system
between early pink and middle pink. So we would end up with whole inventories
of Paradisa sets where the pink could be either one.

We have that situation in the 2003-2004 color change (Light Gray to Light Bluish
Gray) and those inventories are still compromised, meaning that to accurately
represent the two colors, we would have to have hundreds of alternate lines in
the inventory, which in some cases would nearly double the size.

Until we have a better way of handling alternate colors, we will need to hold
off on separating the early and middle pink.

The Light Pink changes so far were allowed because we found the existing colors
to be in error or there was a closer color. It wasn't because we were trying
to clear out the Light Pink color.

As a company, we actually did a study several years ago to see if people could
recognize the difference between the two colors, and we also collected a lot
of possible names from the public for the new color. So we were definitely prepping
to split the color, but then we ran into the inventory issue.

If you have an idea on how we could solve this, please share it with us.

Inventories for the lasts years have up to 1137 unique lots, for the ones in
2004 or before, even doubling (not because only some items would be possible
in two colors not all) those sets inventories would be smaller than the ones
we currently have.

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogStats.asp?v=1&statID=L&itemType=S&inItemType=

Another option is to use the way of LG/LBG, the inventory is done with the earliest
color and a note is added that all parts can be XXX color also, and that just
the unique parts are shown as alternates so that they appear in the known color
lists.

a paypal dispute. He his happy we have sorted it out but why has this happened
in the first place?

That doesn't sound right. If he had a paypal transaction, then the seller
details would appear in the transaction details, along with an order number.

I imagine they filed it by mistake, then couldn't find it again.

The PayPal transactions for IC orders don't have the order ID because the
Order in BL is generated after the payment. They do have an IC ID and with that
the best is to contact admins and see if they can track what happened.

I have checked my orders received and nothing has come through to me. I have
not disappeared off the platform and always send drive through message once shipped.
The paypal payment is there but the amount does not match any order I have. I
have refunded the buyer but now I am concerned this will happen again.

Does the paypal transaction details list an BLLIVE_INVOICENO_ICXXXXXXX ? If so,
open a Help Desk ticket explaining what happened and the paypal details, maybe
the order is in the limbo indeed.

I sent an invoice to a member in Montana earlier today. There is no sales tax
computed, and there is no "Pay" button displayed according to the buyer. The

starting with "This message is to guide you through the payment process ...."
which every invoice usually includes.

Any one who knows what is causing this?

Thanks,

You offer 2 Paypal payment options:
Paypal (onsite) and Paypal

Did they choose the first one, the pay button should be there.
If they choose the last one, they manually have to make a payment via Paypal
to your account.

Thank you! The buyer must have chosen the off site payment method. I just forgot
I still had it enabled as no buyer has chosen it for a very long time. There
is apparently no sales tax in Montana.

Then you can edit your order and change the payment method to PayPal (onsite)
and send the invoice again:

Try changing the shipping price or credit/additional charges a couple times and
invoice again.

On the cbp website it says "Customs and Border Protection (CBP) does not collect

Anyone can explain?

What they state is correct, CBP does not collect state sales tax, but BrickLink
being a Marketplace has to collect state sales tax on goods sold to USA customers.

BrickLink needs the payment to be made onsite (i.e., through PayPal or Stripe)
in order to collect VAT on EU orders under 150€.

But they do offer PayPal Onsite, I still see the banner:

I was just about to say the same. Could it be that they have only micropayments
onsite for international or something like that (IDK as I don't use it).

Or maybe no postage methods that allow an order over 150 euro?

I don't know, 8 EUR orders lets me until place order and 120 EUR also lets
me until place order, maybe the banner dispersar after a few hours or the next
day after allowing PP onsite?

Tha thing is that the payment I see is just paypal, not Paypal onsite...

Uhhh excuse me, but it's the exact opposite.
For years (until now anyway) price of the LEGO parts have dicreased.

Right now you can find zillion of parts on BrickLink under the dollar cent or
euro cent.
LEGO PAB show parts at 0.04€ while it was at a minimum 6 or 7 euro cents couple

In short, I don't foresee what you foresee - of course, I'm talking about
parts, not Boba Fett or ISD Sets

Plus at least 2 new factories...

Sellers with huge quantities tend to be in the country where the magazines are
produced. So I imagine they are foil bags produced by lego then not used, and
disposed of by the magazine publisher.

The foilpacks (now paperpacks?) are actually produced/packed by the publisher
BlueOcean, or so it states on the back.

These are distributed by different companies in each country to quioscs and so.

how many of a certain part I have (independent of color)?

Joe.

Brickstore makes it easy to do this and more.

Agreed of course (and it's free and open-source).

In BrickLink you could in the Inventory page, but only by Categories (Bricks/Plates...)

You can within Bricklink, go to this page and select these two:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogOptions.asp?viewFrom=P

Show Items in My Inventory

Show Items for Sale as number of ITEMS

Ah yes but then it'll always show you this until you unset it back.

You can leave it as so and if you want to know how many lots you have it is a
click alone and the results page of your inventory shows that info:

Ahhhh dont worry mate, you got enough to keep you going!!

As do I, I am a newbie to the whole "catalog identification" thingie but I'm
getting used to looking for specific defining features, like it looks like a
boat hull, so I look in the boat hull section.

Or maybe a modified plate, so I'll look in this section.
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&catString=27

It doesnt take too much time unless its a head with printing, then you have to
search for more details, there is like 200+ pages worth of lego heads.

But when looking (at things like heads), you can generally cut that count by
half+ - 50% of those will be male/female. You can the reduce significantly
further by colour and features. That 200 pages can then end up as just 50...

As for numbers not being visible to the naked eye, at the right angle, in the
right light, yeah, that is a real problem.

Don’t forget to also type hollow, blocked, solid, or vented to narrow it down
more
For example
Yellow head hollow dual female glasses

Or better filter out by using exclusion words -beard -lipstick etc
