  Hallo Medelanders,

A high feedback store changed ownership together with its feedback in the past.

  Thanks MrPetovan.

I looked and couldn't find anything stating it wasn't allowed and the
topic on merging accounts talks of merging feedback so I read that as it is possible.

Is there a way to tag an admin in this ye olde style forum to get a ruling on
it as searching doesn't yield much fruit?

If it is against the rules, and I can be shown this in black and white, then
I'm more than happy to just sell the store stock on here and then close down
the account afterwards.

thanks
Dita

You can't sell your feedback or your store. Just your inventory.

In Selling, MrPetovan writes:
I don't think you can sell your account with the associated feedback.

You can still sell your whole inventory as a custom item for a fixed price or
on the forum if you're open to negotiations, but the feedbacks are yours
and yours only, I believe.

In Selling, Sheffbricks writes:
So I was using Bricklink to sell off spare LEGO to make a little money on the
side but am going back to work soon so won't have time for it.

Have just finished a full stock take so all quantities are checked and verified
plus all prices have been adjusted to current lowest in UK in most cases.

There are about 90k parts with about 98% new condition and the used ones are
all what others would list as 'new'

I am wanting to sell the whole store including stock and the presence here on
bricklink so the buyer can consolidate stores and get the 2k+ feedback boost
from merging stores.

This is a viable store on its own and you can see from my current feedback that
it's taking lots of orders so you could buy it as a starter store or to add
to an existing store you have.

There has been a lot of time put in to organising and updating inventory so I
think a quick sale at 1/3 current store inventory value is a fair deal. and
i will include stock, store and storage (large wilko drawer units) plus a ton
of new gripseal baggies.

I've put a fraction as the price rather than a number as that will change
as orders are taken and fulfilled.

Any serious interested parties please get in touch as I'm asking other people
direct about this and don't see it taking long to shift at almost 70% off

thanks
Dita

Hi,

Change provider or type faster....or save your messages upfront.

Software use on BL is free ...what you pay is a sales comission...after you sold
something,
I can't remember BL giving guarantees for the use of their software, and they
also not charge for it either.

Cheers

Chris

It is isn't free, it is use first, pay later

I can't change ISP unless I want to go to dial-up, there is no utility besides
electric and phone brought to the top of the mountain I live on. The cell service
is too inconsistent to try a network card from a cellular service.

sucks, I tried downloading music from a free promo I got (Judas Priest Redeemer
of Souls) and it took 35 min to download 10 songs

Well as long as you dont sell ,one can use BL for free,to browse, buy ,vent on
the forum etc.
You have one advantage when you live on top of your hill....you're closer
to the satellites
If your celluar service is too inconsistant, your satelite connection /gps etc
most probably will be too....start digging for a cable connection or use the
tamtam.

Cheers

Have you tried to always have an additional window/tab which permanently shows

On some pages you get logged out after some time but not on MyBrickLink.
The main forum page should also work.

Yous guys don't get the point, it isn't a problem for ME to fix, it is
a problem for THEM to fix, me do nothing, I PAY THEM

do you call a plumber and then let him sit at your kitchen table why you try
work arounds?

If there is a problem with Satellite internet, I do not have the knowledge to
diagnose such an issue.

If there is a browser issue, I also do not have this knowledge.

But, I am getting very darn (want to throw in explicatives, must control myself)
agitated about getting logged out and losing work.

I should not have to copy and paste to "make sure" my text does not get lost,
I should not have to log in every hour when I am actively using the site.

I have submitted a link to this thread to the help desk.

But my suggestion is to fix the website so a user that is forced to use my ISP
can use the site normally.

The US constitution guarantees everyone freedom of religion.
Also freedom of speech. So I think if a seller wants to promote
their religious beliefs through their BL store that is their right.

The US constitution also allows people to not believe in religion,
if they choose not to. In other words the government can not force
people to go to church or read the bible.

To look at it from the other side, what if a seller was an atheist.
Would a believer in religion be offended if they got a short message
in their order that stated that the store owner was an atheist and he
or she thought God did not exist and was promoting the atheist view?

Just wondering if there would be any different reaction from buyers
concerning the atheist message vs the bible message?

I have purchased minifigures a few times on Bricklink and some sellers ship what
they label as "New" minifigures in assembled form.
I feel that any Lego piece that is intentionally assembled is not new but used.
Period.

It seems that what you want to buy is parts for a minifig....they only become
a minifig once assembled, otherwise they are just parts,pieces,sets,puzzle.....all
but not a minifig yet....also better for storage,transport....selling thousands
new and assembled each year....nobody ever complained about it.

Just My 2 eurocents

There needs to be an indicator that seller select when listing minifigs:

NEW (unassembled)
ASSEMBLED (not played with)
USED (played with or shows play wear)

I don't and never will call assembled Legos "new".

And I'm sick of buying so called "new" minifigs.

I shouldn't have to waste time messaging a seller about whether or not a
minifig is loose or assembled. Not to mention they could lie and disassemble
prior to shipping (though the "neck" of the torso would show signs that a head
had once been attached.

When I buy "NEW" I want it to be NEW.

Thanks.

  Actually, I'd say 3 NPB's, but not 3 NSS's. A NPB can be because
of a lot of things, but a NSS is simple. You are keeping the money and not shipping.
That should even be 1 IMO.

A bit harsh with the NSS thinking there.

A NSS can occur for other reasons other than outright theft/fraud etc. ( sickness,
hospitalisation, unexpected family event and strikes for example )

I agree there should be a rethink on the whole 3 strikes thing.

Of course, a NSS can be cancelled if you are back and you refund the money or
whatever. Just remember petjerz (forgot the name).

They do not have the concept that there are hundreds if not thousands of sellers

Proven from the constant questions about purchasing from my other stores on this

Hmmm... "... my other stores on this site." This is the second time you have
mentioned having other stores on this site. If so, that means you have duplicate
accounts in violation of the ToS. Would you care to elaborate on those other
stores and accounts and explain why you feel owning multiple stores and accounts
does not violate the ToS.

Forget about new user screens and probation and blocking. If experienced members
won't follow the rules I don't see how we can expect new members to follow them.

Thor - Lay off. If someone thinks a person "owns" bricklink, then they would
ask him about purchasing from his other stores. So the confusion is on the buyer,
not on BBD. It sure seems to me that you are trying to twist the words to make
him look bad.

Read the whole thread before you reply. This is a pattern with this seller and
his mentor/partner: http://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=511466

It was quite obvious for most of us what Jon was trying to explain.....But apparently
you saw this as another opportunity to keep your ego in the spotlights.
Do you have nothing better to do then constantly bashing people on this forum?
If I'm not mistaken, you have a wife, several kids and lots of lego.

The HRF012 and HRF008 are from the same set and the minifig without the D-basket
should be deleted as it is not shown in the set inventory.
