  1. Is there an effective way to thoroughly clean and remove odor from figs, polybags,
and parts without ruining them?

Dawn soap and water

This has never once worked for me, the only thing that has ever worked is letting
them air out, sometimes for years.

Mine have been EasyPost for a few days now.

Yes, mine changed before I saw the "Hey we changed the labels" notification.

The only thing I don't love is the relocated rubber stamp but I just need
to get used to looking there for it and not at the bottom.

We purchased a number of LEGO sets to "break" about a year ago.

We just opened them (damaged box sets) and unlike the year before when we did
the same thing this time around we found quite a few damaged elements.

Anyone else have this happen?

Very odd. The minor damage on the box should not have had such defined damage
on the elements.

Not here. Damaged box sets are usually perfect for a parts seller.

A strange thing I have seen recently was a part swapped out for a completely
unrelated part, that was pretty odd to me. The only other thing was this little
baby short shot, my first ever.

HI All
I have the old 9V holiday train and the 9V has finally died. I'd really like
to make it go again but I am absolutely not up to speed on all the new motors
and what not. Whats the best way to get it moving again with new parts?
TIA
Jason

I have to agree, if just the motor died why not just go get a new 9v motor?
The lack of giant battery box plus the cost of batteries makes it a much less
desirable option if you already have all the 9v components.

Most of the retrofits of the PF components make the tender look a little funny
due to the size of the battery box.

So if you go to your quotes request page, what is the current status of the quote?

Blank No.10, blank, blank, blank district.

In China, the street information often has the form of [Town name] - [Village
name] - Street (Road) name -[Block number]- House number. The components within
the brackets [ ] are optional components in the address, and may often be omitted.

- Town name: The town name is usually followed by the suffix 镇 , 乡, or 堡.
- Village name: The village name is usually followed by the suffix 村, 新村.
- Street (Road) name: The street (road) name is usually followed by one of these
suffixes 路, 大道, 街, 大街, 里.
- Block number: The block number is usually followed by one of these suffixes
弄 , 巷 , 厅 , 胡同.
- House number: The house number is followed by the suffix 号, and the house name
is a unique number within the block or street/road.

Pulled from an SAP help pages but you get the idea. You can google each one
or potions of them to determine which goes into what field you need to fill.

You can also use the Business name/company as well, that is an additional field
that will be added to the CN22. Lastly If I get an address that gives me even
the slightest amount of trouble I'll print a second label with their name
and address and slap it on the other side of the box exactly how they sent it
to me.

If you are truly stuck send me a message and I might be able to help decipher
the exact address to enter into the label creation process.

bookmarks work however, like https://www.bricklink.com/v2/main.page (works) but
https://bricklink.com/ does NOT

Looks like the root DNS entry is wrong. The www entry and root entry point to
2 different addresses, both amazon but one must be bad.

What a stupid System, Place an order without knowing the Cost.

Agreed. I do like the quote option that many provide, the last step of checkout
you can quote instead of complete purchase if they have it enabled.

Though I did just make a large purchase from a polish store that had excellent
shipping breakdown in their terms and it was 100% spot on upon receipt of invoice.

Keep your eye's out for stores like this. I do know that a few countries
mail services have significant price differences based upon the thickness of
items and know that Royal Mail is one of those, often thickness questions show
up in the forums.

I have about 40 32x32 baseplates I'd like to add to my store. Problem is
that I'm not sure of the best way to ship them. Do sellers just typically
ship them in large bubble envelopes or boxes? Large envelopes seem the most economical
but I'm concerned about damage to the plates. Boxes seem the most safe but
more costly to ship. What are your recommendations? Thanks.

Shocked no one mentioned this but I use record mailers. You can make them skinny
if they only order a couple baseplates or a bit bigger to add parts with baseplates.

They are cheap/lightweight and easy to use.
