Then I decided I wanted to give one of them to someone as a gift. So is there
a hack in Brickstore to adjust the quantities down by 20%, or should I just upload
5 and then upload another one at -1?

Copy all the items you need to subtract to a new file, divide by 5, multiply
by -1, then copy/paste (merge all) with your other document set to existing lot
and ignore all.

Welcome, you will need to create some shipping methods in order for anyone to
purchase from you.

In Catalog, Saitobricks.ca writes:
I do too, I didn’t order the more expensive variant just cus. I order because
I want that specific part.

And somehow the obvious solution is to smash them all together so that buyers
who care must look through thousands or at least hundreds of listings trying
to find the note "Older variant"

The chair with sprue really blows me away, it's such an obvious easy to see
vintage part that would look out of place in this set (and many others):

Set No: 6391 Name: Cargo Center
*
6391-1 (Inv) Cargo Center
530 Parts, 5 Minifigures, 1984
Sets: Town: Classic Town: Cargo

What a bad idea, this is certainly detrimental to anyone working on vintage sets.

The parts were on the invoice generated by BrickLink,
It also shows on the order page,
The strange thing is I never added these items to my cart,
As I used the automatic buy all function from the wanted list

Is it possible you had an old cart created for that store with those items and
they added to your easy buy?

I see your store is a multiple of the same lots, is that how you store it as
well?

You either spend time consolidating before or spend time going to multiple lots
when you sell. Some buyers are also very put off when shopping by wanted list
if you have no good reason to have multiple lots of the same item (i.e. used/new/variation).

That only works if the seller provides a tracking number. I don't understand
why some sellers are incapable of uploading tracking numbers to the order when
they mark it shipped. I do it all the time the space BL provides .

Informed delivery has nothing to do with Bricklink, any packages on their way
to your location you will get tracking for through the post office.

It shows me arriving today/arriving soon and even outbound packages now.

Not that this would help your exact situation but sign up for informed delivery
with the usps, it is free. You'll get a daily email of packages on the way
to you as well as scans of all the letter mail (i.e. junk, coupons, and bills)
arriving that day.

The title of this message was 2fa.
It was about PayPal account.

I wish I had taken this message more seriously.

Take this seriously! Now!

I'll never forget it, my PayPal account got hacked years ago so I had to
call them, we reset my email back, changed my password about to hang up and my
email was changed back to the wrong email address. Ever since that day I use
2fa for everything I can.

Sure it's a bit annoying at times, but much less so than having what little
money I have taken away, that is way more annoying.

I have been on this site for many years now, and have done my share of purchases
and sales. Typically I charge the exact price it costs me to ship a given package,
sometimes I do this at a aloss i.e., I charge extra for the box (1-2 $), but
do not charge anything for the air bubbles or my hot glue gun.

Sometime back I ordered few parts ($5.00 worth), and the seller asked for $6.00
for shipping and $3.00 extra charges.

Maybe I have not kept up with the 'business', but isn't this extreme?

Seems a bit high but using the word EXTREME for $3 seems a bit.. extreme?

I’m going to pay it forward and pick up the cost of shipping it back. It’s only
a few dollars and I’ll be helping another seller out. Luckily it’s the same
country just opposite coasts. 🙂

You can mark it "Return To Sender" and it will not cost you a thing.
This is part of what we pay for with our postage.

Return to sender can only be done on unopened mail.

I posted honest feedback on a store, marking it as "Neutral" and honestly
wrote that while everything went fine with the fulfillment, they never left me
feedback even after several months.

Have you seen how neutral feedback effects a stores praise? It basically counts
as a negative experience. Your order was bad enough for you to knock this polish
seller down from 100% positive to this because they didn't leave you feedback?

I know this doesn't really address your question/issue but felt it important
enough to point out.

  Thanks. Will do that.

In addition, check the sellers terms, often times they lay out how they handle
missing parts. Some send them, some just refund, and a few issue store credit.
