That's terrible!! I will try to report to Help desk as well...

In Help, rankster writes:
Nothing happens. I reported some members linking their Instagram and eBay pages
which is againt the TOS but BL didn't care, the report simply disappeared
after a few weeks.
I also reported some items which were listed prior to the official LEGO release
date under custom category which is also against the rules but nothing happened
either...

know what happens after reporting? I didn't get a confirmation mail or
anything like that. How can I tell if BL admin received it or not, and how do

Thank you for the link.

So I might not find out what happens to that buyer unless I keep checking to
see if he is there still? That's kind of annoying...

Do you know what happens after I submit a ticket? I didn't receive a confirmation.
How do I know if there are any updates?

I shipped an order with multiple lots and some of the lots were of brand new
parts. We always clean and examine all parts with a magnifying glass before
shipping the parts out. This buyer sent us a message today saying multiple new
parts were used (and not just with fine scratches, but claimed parts have dented
studs! We know that is a lie because we took these parts out of sealed bags and
during inspection, if we see damages like he described, we would throw the parts
away and would never sell them). He also complained that we shipped Dark bluish
gray instead of Dark Gray on other parts. Light grays and Light bluish grays
are hard for us to tell with our aging eyes, but we can tell dark vs DBGs.

I looked at feedbacks he left others and he left many complaints to sellers who
didn't budge to compensate him for "used" parts listed as new. How do we
deal with serial scammers like this one? Is there a place we can report them?

We have 100% positive feedbacks, and would hate to break our perfect record to
a scumbag. We wrote him back and asked for pictures of the damaged parts. Please
advise. Thank you!!

If you are sure you send the right stuff and the buyer has done this before,
leave factual feedback.
Maybe give them a neutral stating that the buyer wanted a refund for new parts
trying to say they are used.

Good luck and don’t worry about the feedback you might receive in return, wear
it as a badge of honor.
By giving in to these types, you only encourage them to try it again.

As mentioned above, we have 100% positive feedback for 9 years. Not only do
we clean most parts with a light mist of rubbing alcohol (doing this allows us
to examine the parts once more before shipping), we dry them with a microfiber
cloth. We have never had a complaint like this either. We package our parts
very vert very very very carefully. The damages he claimed could not have come
from packaging / shipping of the parts, but thanks for your suggestion.

I sell mostly used and have never had this complaint.

I also use LOTS of packing material. I get many positive comments about it which
leads me to believe that other sellers skimp on it. I know I personally have
gotten many orders where I'm shocked the items are undamaged.

Perhaps examine your shipping practices in regards to padding.

I was to emphasized that Klaas and I have corresponded and the person Klaas is
dealing is dealing with is the EXACT SAME PERSON as the one I am dealing with!
I find it incredibly unlikely that one single person can have that many problems
with sellers selling him wrong or unmatched parts or Used vs New parts. I have
gotten another 5 sellers' confirmation that they had trouble with this guy
in just 1 day!

I will go draft my complaint to admin now.

In Help, greenman writes:
  Hi all,

I am this other seller. Last Wednesday I read the original posting of 3eyeballs.
100% the same annoying complaints about brand new Lego parts. Grrr.
It was a nice large order, with many different lots, thousends of parts. We found
1 mistake, a missing Minifigure, which we immediately refunded for 150% value,
including a big 'Sorry'.

One of the (many!!) complaints to me was: "The trans clear basepates (16x16)
are used".
These were new of course, but have been stored about 15 years over here, I found
them in a hidden box. I told him that.
Reply from customer: "If these plates have been stored so long, in a box containing
other parts too (also New btw) the plates are used". "I want full refund for
these".
Really!??
Nah, I don't think so.

Amd so on...

My last reply was: 'Please send all the parts you are not happy with back
to me, and I will refund these. I pay for shipment of course, I'll send the
refund after checking the content'

....silence since then (2 days ago)

Oh well, 1 out of 1000 orders is an annoying experience. Which means that 999
times the order was closed with a smile.
I go for the smiles!!

seems like a scam that he is running to get free Lego.

Thanks! I am going to gather the other sellers who gave him negative feedback
and build a case to write to the admin.

Thank you so much! I think I will stall him a little longer and contact a few
of his negative feedback providers to see if I can build a case against him.
I just got contacted by another buyer who is dealing with the same trouble customer.
This seems like a scam that he is running to get free Lego.Just disappointed
in people like this.

Asking for the pictures is a start and someone also posted the link for reporting.

To back myself, I always take pictures of my orders once pulled to have a copy
for myself. I only sell used parts right now as I'm still "collecting" set
to get a decent new parts collection, so I use the pictures to verify and confirm
buyers "issues". Everything is snapped with the invoice so that there is no
confusion and I can always reference them. I inspect all my parts when sorting,
but occasionally something gets past me so I can compare notes.

Just something to think about for the future that might help you in a situation
like this.
