Hello there,

any particular reason why gs014 includes his weapons? I just stumbled across
it and thought it was weird.

Thanks,
Nadine

Thank you all for the work you've done! I think many of us just realized
how much we rely on Bricklink for information.

I have one question and one comment though.

Has price guide info been deleted of orders that have been identified as fraudulent?

I'm sure you noticed how the "mood" in Facebook and other social
media changed for the better once you started communicating with your users.
PLEASE start communicating a lot more with the community.

Thanks again 👍

What is the length of wire in your set?

One is exactly 50cm, the other one is a little shorter but has some bigger knots
on both ends and a bit of fraying so it's safe to say it used to be 50cm
when new.

Maybe you can build other models on the back of the set and see if these bricks
are used?

Looking at the pictures I think the additional bricks are a mixture of "we should
add them because they are on the box art" and mistakes that have been made because
the set has a A, B and C build. Looking at the history when things were added,
changed and deleted, it suffered a lot of this confusion in the past.

This can be simply because these are exactly those bricks not used on the main
model.

Modell C was still partly built in the box. But it included all the parts that
were for build A and build B exclusively as well. (like for example all the slopes
and inverted slopes. You only need them for build A and yet, they were still
in there).

So yeah, I am pretty certain the inventory was created on assumption that the
side box art was included in the set which imo it is not.

Set No: 163 Name: Cargo Wagon

121 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 1977
Sets: Train: 4.5V

* Delete 4 Part 3185 Black Fence 1 x 4 x 2
* Delete 4 Part 3358 Black Fence Gate 1 x 3 x 2
* Delete 4 Part 3359 Black Fence Gate 1 x 3 x 2 Base

Comments from Submitter:
These parts are not part of the set. They are not in the building instructions and can't be seen anywhere on pictures. They simply don't exist.

The parts are shown on one side of the box and were added to the inventory many
years ago be a known and reliable contributer.

Do you have any evidence that they were not included in the set?

Interesting! I did not see that. However, I think they are still not part of
the inventory!

I bought a set from the original owner (super good condition, stickers are still
untouched) and the only things missing are those that are not shown in the instructions.
In addition to those mentioned above I found that there are other bricks not
in the correct amount as they are NOT in the instructions and were also not included
in my set:

- 4 1x4 bricks blue (8 are currently in the ivnentory, only 4 are included for
build B)
- 1 1x2 plate blue (2 are currently in the ivnentory, only 1 is included for
build C step 4)
- 3 2x3 plate blue (4 are currently in the ivnentory, only 1 is included for
build C step 7)
- 5 2x4 plate light gray (there's none needed for any build and none included
but 5 in BL inventory)

It would be a weird coincidence that those that are only shown on the outside
pictures are by accident the ones missing from my set.

About 3 years ago I asked here whether someone knew a way how to display it using
either BL or a 3rd party software and no one did.

So YES, please! That would make our life so much easier in many ways!

In other words, take at least a few minutes to learn the basics. You can not
make it any easier if you don't bother to try to learn it. In the same amount
of time it took you to complain how difficult the forum is to navigate and to
say you will probably never use it again, if instead you took that time and used
it to hit a few buttons, tap a few links, etc, you would have learned that it
already IS EASY to use.

Okay, I get how we all love that nothing ever changes and that we love to keep
stuff the way it is but seriously, the guy is absolutely right!!!
And I am sure that this is the reason why there are about 100 people in this
forum when the site is used by thousands!
Even though you can click on a million buttons to make it look like you want
it to, it should look like that from the start and not with clicking links on
the bottom of a page every single time you want to read something.

The studio beta forum is what a normal forum should look like. It's been
invented... probably about 25 years ago!

In Inventories, OliS writes:
  Hello together,

from time to time a make a small mistake in identifying the right Color of a
part. This happens to difficult Colors like for example silver.

If I take a look into the catalog entry of the parts I can easily find then the
mistake because my uploaded Color isn't in the list "known Colors".

And here's my idea:
Won't it be possible to Change the function of the database in that way that
you will receive an error message if you try to upload a part with an unknown
Color into your inventory?

My expectation with this function would be that the amount of wrong Colors will
be reduced in the future - and this will help everybody.
And maybe a next step could be that inventories with unknown colored parts will
get a message that the users have to correct and update the inventory.

What do you think about this idea?

Best regards,
Oliver.

Hi,

there are lots of part that do exist in colours that aren't supposed to exist...

Hi,

I am very sorry for all Turkish citizens!

What payment methods will you be able to use in the future?
I (and I am sure many others) would love to offer a payment method specifically
for Turkish buyers to show our solidarity!

I'm most interested in a link showing on my My Action Items area of the My
BrickLink page. I don't really care if it is part of "Orders Not Yet Shipped"
or some other label.

I can back up an order status from Paid back to Ready and it shows in the Not
Yet Shipped list and the link shows in the Action Items.

I am not sure if I understand you correctly, but you are not supposed to mark
an order as "complete". That's for the buyer to do when he received and checked
it.
