It would be be nice to be able to see the original retail price on the Lego sets.
Thanks

Which original sales prices do you want to know?
The US Dollar, Euro, German Mark, French France, Belgian France, Dutch Guilder,
British 'Pound, Italian Lire, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Japanese Yen,
Brazilian Real, or another of the many other currencies?

rational or sustainable.

Not only with parts, but also with sets, gears etc.

The topic of Neutral feedback and how they are seen as minor negatives comes
up
quite a lot and although I’m sure this idea may not go down well with some....
I think one interesting concept could be to make it so that after 3 months any
feedback
that has not been left automatically turns into a Neutral which would probably
mean about 30% of any sellers feedback will no doubt be made up of Neutrals which
might then make leaving a manual Neutral seem less Negative and more acceptable
for a buyer to submit and for a seller to receive?

A seller could say why should I have to accept receiving Neutrals just because
a buyer couldn’t be bothered to leave feedback but firstly you have to remember
that the same situation will occur for everyone so that shouldn’t matter too
much especially if Neutral is more commonly expected however my theory is that
those customers that are particularly happy with their order be that because
it shipped quickly, well packaged, great parts, no fees, reasonable shipping
cost etc, etc.. are much more likely to WANT to let the seller know its arrived
and they are very happy with everything.
If a customer is left pondering because they are disgruntled about a couple of
things they may then be more inclined to leave Neutral or let it turn to a Neutral
automatically rather than leaving the usual somewhat less than deserved Positive
rating!

My other theory is that you may actually get more people choosing to leave feedback
in the first place because they may not want the seller to receive an automated
Neutral from them but on the other hand this option allows those buyers that
don’t want to leave feedback for a seller who delivered a less than perfect transaction
the option to allow it to just turn to a Neutral.

If you think about it every transaction would be destined to become a Neutral
feedback and only those that specifically choose to give Positive or Negative
will change that eventuality which would probably make more sense?

Therefore two sellers with 100 feedback instead of looking almost identical may
end up looking very different based on their overall performance:-

Seller A:- 70 Positive, 30 Neutral, 0 Negative
Seller B:- 55 Positive, 45 Neutral, 0 Negative

Or at least that’s the theory if you go by the law of averages when it comes
to those that don’t leave any feedback and then add to that all those who had
previously been holding back with giving sellers a Neutral rating!

No! No feedback isn't a positive, neutral or a negativ feedback!

Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 6775 Name: Alpha Team Bomb Squad
*
6775-1 (Inv) Alpha Team Bomb Squad
177 Parts, 3 Minifigures, 2001
Sets: Alpha Team

* Delete 1 Part 3673 Light Gray Technic, Pin without Friction Ridges Lengthwise (match ID 99)

Comments from Submitter:
Can not find where this part is used in the instruction manual.

This set was redesigned during production. The first version of the set has all
of the parts in the Regular Items section with Match ID 99, and the second version
of the set has all of the parts in the Alternate Items section with Match ID
99. It sounds like you have the second version of the set. Since the inventory
is correct, this request will not be accepted.

Cheers,
Randy

I think the 2nd version is wrong. The changed parts do not fit.

I am the one who discovered the differences in 2012, and I was the one who compared
the two inventories originally. I would hope that I would have gotten it right
back then, but I can check again.

I'm pretty sure you did get it right. I found both sets of instructions a
few years ago and worked through the differences as well.

I was wrong. I have now found a video.
The wall is not closed like in the 1st version. There remains a gap.

Is there any way to edit the way the Catalog is displayed? There are some types
of Lego that I'm not interested in and they just clutter up the Catalog tree.
For instance, 19 Duplo and 7 Mini Doll categories that I'll never bother
looking at. (I'm okay with Fabuland!)

  Hello,

It's remarkable quit now, about the Nougat colours!

With all do of respect and comprehension about the decision to change the name
from Flesh to Nougat...
I didn't follow all those threads and discussions/remark, some were so funny
I couldn't stop laugh about it...
But I assume it has to be one of the most controversial and humorous decision
made by BrickLink or Lego, isn't it?

Anyway, we can presume that most BL members have accepted (or learned to deal
with it) the name change of the colour!

Now is the question: which colour next ???

Greetings, Yannick

Do you know North Korea?

The same is here. Do not say anything against a decision by the Admins!

In Colors, Admin_Russell writes:
For those who may have missed this recent change, we have decided to change the
name "Flesh" to another color name in the BrickLink catalog. I'm not going
to get into the reasons why this was done - the purpose here is to inform you
of what the changes were and how they may affect your BrickLink user experience.

The changes are 5 in number:

1. Light Flesh becomes Light Nougat

2. Flesh becomes Nougat

3. Medium Dark Flesh becomes Medium Nougat

4. Dark Flesh becomes Medium Brown

5. Dark Nougat is added to the BrickLink catalog, which is currently included
with BrickLink's Earth Orange.

Changes to the color names in Item Names are forthcoming. No changes to inventories
are necessary except to give Dark Nougat a place in the system.

How this may effect you:

1. If you rely on any of BrickLink's list pages that can be sorted by color
(set inventory, catalog search, catalog item detail page, etc.) some items may
be listed in a different order.

2. If you have your physical parts inventory sorted by color, you may need to
relabel. Dark Flesh is relatively rare, but if you have it, you will need to
change the labels to Medium Brown. That's the tough one, although renaming
it to a type of brown is a big step in the right direction.

3. If you perchance have the type of Earth Orange from the early 2000's,
you should separate out these parts and relist them under Dark Nougat. This color
is retired and quite rare.

Thanks to our BrickLink color enthusiasts for their input. They've given
invaluable advice over the years and we're happy they were willing to give
some advice this time around as well.

The first step....

I thought I would post this Discussion to bring to the members awareness of a
possible misinterpretation of the Inventory list of Set 75248 Star Wars Resistance
A-Wing Starfighter. The inventory is listed correct as I see it. I just opened
a sealed complete set and confirmed the Inventory. The only Item in Question
is Part 15303 Trans-Red Bar 8L with round End (Spring Shooter Dart). In the Instructions
it does show 3 Items are used but only 2 are actually used in the set. At first
I would think the 3rd piece would be considered an extra part, but since all
three are listed in step 101 the last Instruction step. The Inventory should
remain unchanged.

All three are listed. But only two were used. There is no place for the third
one.
