| There's one thing everyone sending photos should remember about and that
is making sure that the photos can't be reused. Facebook and other marketplaces
are full of "good deals" and many of them have loads of good photos.

| We at Bricknation Toys are against the changes in the proposed form for a number
of reasons.
BrickLink on many occasions throughout the years claimed that the extensive catalogue
built by countless volunteers is the companies main asset. What's coming
is a direct contradiction to the above as it will be devaluing the catalogue
and will decrease it's usefilness for the LEFO fan community as a whole -
builders, collectors, historians, sellers etc.
Many proposed entries will make shopping a much worse experience, for some customers
resembling a lottery.
This will in turn create issues for sellers who will need to deal with increase
in customer dissatisfaction and all what comes with it - emails, returns, bad
feedback etc.
Bad idea
Best regards,
Bricknation Toys Team

| Place an order in our store and get a free pizza tile.
Just don't try to eat it.
Every order placed before midnight on Thursday 27 July gets one free pizza box
tile.
Additionally, all sets and most of the parts in our store are on sale up to 25%

| The danger I see here is that if the buyers shopping experience is significantly
worse than they normally expect from TLG then it may damage the image both of
TLG and BrickLink

| I have some questions.
1. Will PAB be a "user" on the platform?
2. Will the buyers be able to leave negative, positive or neutral feedback for
the PAB fulfilled orders if they're not happy with the service?
3. Will the feedback be visible to others?
4. Will PAB be subject to the same rules other sellers have to abide by? (NSS,
suspensions etc)

In LEGO, CNH1974 writes:
| I’m trying to identify this figure. I keep coming across them in bulk lots; in
the UK.
They are usually Futuron or Blacktron I figures.
Everything is glued; except the legs still bend and you can remove the hands.
And they all have this non standard white piece on the back of the torso.
I have looked on Bricklink, Brickset & done a general Google search. Other than
a couple of images of people trying to sell them, without saying precisely what
they are, I cannot find anything.
I am now guessing they are something unofficial.
So does anyone know what they are?

| Turns out there is a comparison website (verpackungslizenz24) for the "licensed
recyclers". The one recommended by eBay is the most expensive. I bet eBay is
taking a cut. There's one that seems to offer the needed level of service
for about £10 per year and a few for around £25

| Apparently it's becoming mandatory to register with the German LUCID register
by 1 July 2022 under a threat of big fines.
Looks like it's a serious thing as eBay just had an update saying that all
sellers selling to Germany regardless of their location need to follow the rules
of the act or their listings won't be shown to German buyers.
Do bricklink sellers need to register?
Will bricklink enforce the registration?
I didn't see it discussed in much detail in the forum and it's probably
time to know more as the deadline isn't far away.

| I don't know much about NFTs but I don't think it's a good idea.
The main appeal of Lego is that it is a tangible medium and we already have digital
bricks.
Yes it would be a good way to bring new people to the marketplace but I don't
think they would be buying any parts.

| Stripe is quite good. It just blocked a potentially fraudulent payment. New account
created yesterday. Delivery addres to a soviet era run down block of flats in
Kiev but paid with a Saudi credit card with a different name. I don't know
what the items were but it was over $200. I've stoplisted the buyer. Watch
out guys and gals.

| Of course the buyer wouldn't know but it isn't about if you can tell
the difference or not. You also wouldn't know if someone built a set first,
carefully took it apart and sold the parts as new.
In my dictionary Lego parts that were joined together count as used. Wheater
you build a stack for shipping or a tiny skyscraper. The moment you join two
new parts together you have two used parts. Hopefully the photo illustrates it
well.

| Your probably right that the parts were stored that way. It's a 4000 parts
order so very unlikely that the seller sat down and put it all together just
for shipping.

| it isn't a new seller. Over 300 orders in that store. 100% feedback. A partial
refund doesn't really fix the issue for me.

| Just received an order of new parts that were supposed to go into my inventory.
The seller probably tried to be helpful and stacked almost all the parts.
I don't feel I can sell them now as new.
What are your thoughts?
