  Hello,

I have some 3626bpx120 heads with pattern variations (thin moustache and beard,

Is it known if some belong to a specific set/time period or are they just random

The falcon facing left variant (just like the inverted colors variant) is not
distinguished here, but you can mention it in the item's description.

I can't find anything on these variants in the bricklink catalogue, are they
just missing, or has it been discussed and dismissed? I have both beak left and
beak right versions, all on short prong 80s torsos. Is that a thing for collectors?

On the pic, there are:

is Metallic Gold a known color for this part?) from set 7018

variation?

Thanks,

Metallic gold is a coating. These sword are not coated, it is a catalog error.

Thank you. The color variation on the reddish gold one is huge!

Bonjour,

D'après l'inventaire du set, les élastiques rouges que vous recherchez
sont ceux-ci :

Part No: x37 Name: Rubber Belt Medium (Round Cross Section) - Approx. 3 x 3
*
x37 Rubber Belt Medium (Round Cross Section) - Approx. 3 x 3

Il y en a pas mal à la vente.

Metallic Gold is a BrickLink color referring to a plain part (usually made in
Tan) that has had a coating applied to it. The coating is only applied to ABS
parts, and these swords were not made with ABS. My guess is that they were made
from polyethylene. Therefore, the first thing to realize is that none of them
are Metallic Gold.

The center one is definitely LEGO color Warm Gold, which is Pearl Gold on BrickLink.
The left one looks too light to me to be BrickLink's Flat Dark Gold (LEGO's
Metallic Sand Yellow), so it is probably just a Pearl Gold variation.

Cheers,
Randy

Thank you for your reply.

However it makes me even more confused. The sword on the left is exactly (and
I mean, exactly) the same color as the viking helmet which is said to be metallic
gold. How can it be another color then? That sword in mg appears in several sets
according to the BL catalog and very different from the one in the middle (the
texture is different, more "solid", don't know how to say it).
Also, I compared all these swords with pearl gold parts and if I remember well,
the colors did not match.

Thanks,
Alexandre
