  Hello,
I just restarted Bricksync, the synchronization took place but to my surprise,
it was reversed. All the changes made over the last two months via Bricklink
have disappeared and Bricksync has taken inventory of Brickowl as a reference.
I end up with a HUGE inventory problem. That never happened to me before ....
Usually when I run bricksync, it does sync commands and mate those of Bricklink
and Brickowl. He then uses Bricklink as a reference to update the changes on
Brickowl and not the other way around?
Is there a way back on Bricksync?

If you had a solution to this problem, I would be extremely grateful.

Lancelot (France)

Have a look at a couple of your recent Bricksync backups in the data folder,
you should be able to use one to roll back your inventory.

Can we please remove the 'Prefer My Bricklink Classic?' (and the corresponding
one from the old screen) from the top of the 'My Bricklink' page.

It takes up loads of screen real estate and would be as a tick box on a display
settings option.

I think after it being there a year most people will have chosen which style
they prefer.

I have several of these bricks (4070a). They are being deleted from catalog.
Should I just list them as 4070?

Thankfully, since there are so many headlight bricks with varying levels of partial
holes. It was definitely a manufacturing defect.

You think the horizontal slot is a defect?

I believe, until Lego says otherwise, the slot is meant to be like this.

Out of all my 4070 at least 80% have a slot, no matter what year or color, no
matter what set it came from.
Too much for a defect.

It is a slot that is always the same form, sharply formed, very straight and
small.

I think it could be made for pressure relieve.

Yes, if you look from the inside, the hole is always moulded there. Sometimes
there is a thin skin over it. I think all my newer parts have the slot, with
older ones being hit and miss.

I believe the note on the part 'This part is occasionally found with a small
horizontal slot in the front near the base. This is believed to be an unintentional
feature.' is incorrect. Should be the other way round 'occasionally
found WITHOUT a small...'

Especially when considering the reason why it has been marked:

"This item was marked for deletion because it sets a precedent for adding
dozens of unnecessary combinations of hinges as assemblies to the catalog
."

Whereas it is impossible AFAIK to pick one color per sub-item (minifigs are defined
as "complete set", you can't pick one and choose other legs colour for instance).

In protest of 3830c01 being marked for deletion I am not going to sell either
3830 or 3831 on BrickLink.

I sell used bricks, nearly all of these come to me as a complete hinge, in order
to sell them I must either sell them as a pair or manually separate them and
then list them separately.

Part No: 3830c01 Name: Hinge Brick 1 x 4 Swivel
*
3830c01 Hinge Brick 1 x 4 Swivel
Parts: Hinge
Marked for Deletion

I still don't understand why they were marked for deletion. There only single
colors in the catalog, no crossed colors, no decorated items. Nothing but plain
single colors.

I will sell them on other well known sites.

Cob

Not saying it should be deleted, but that reason is valid. There are plenty
of sets where the two parts have different colours. Why would those combinations
not be available to buy?

Inside is a sharper curve and has a smooth top.

Outside is shallower curve and has a serrated top.

  Hello
is it possible that this brick is not listed ? i only find the 2015 2016 and
2012 Version.

I have a couple of similar bricks I can't find listed.

I'm pretty sure I read on here (can't remember if it was on the forum,
or the guidelines for part submission) that no more of this type of part would
be accepted as they are considered custom items, rather than an official LEGO
printed brick.

Guys, what i am saying maybe cliché but many sellers here should have already
experienced those irresponsible people who order and go away or give those funny
excuses blah blah blah. i am not asking for any kind of punishment to those people,
i just hope the management of bricklink can work out something to avoid these
so as to have a better protection to our sellers.(such as set limitations for
new account or consequences of cancellation) thank you for your time. God bless.

Suggestion:

Setup instant checkout and require buyers under 5 feedback to pay immediately.

You would also need to make Paypal Onsite your only payment method.

I've had a couple of people have an instant invoice, and then not pay, or
have problems with payment.

While I understand the concept of this request, I have a simple question: What
is the virtue of this feature? What makes it good? […]

One obvious use is to do like S@H: limit resale potential, er, I mean, allow
more customers to be served.

But as a Bricklink seller?

There are lots less overheads involved in selling 10 items to one buyer, than
one each to 10 buyers.

Unless OP was intending it to be like S&H's gift with purchase, i.e. spend
X and you can buy this item cheap.

Used parts are common, but modern trans-clear bricks are rare.
(Does anyone know why?)

I would have thought panels would be used rather than bricks in modern sets for
clear.

  Hi All-

Anyone know the logic in calling

Part No: 3713 Name: Technic Bush

a "Bush" rather than a "Bushing"?

Don't know that I have ever seen this type of isolator ever referred to as
a "Bush" anywhere outside of BL.

Scott

I've seen both, but then I have always thought a bushing was a plain bearing,
which this part isn't. (Although it sort of can be.)
