After an amazing 4 months in Madeira Portugal, I'm back in Canada and my
store has been opened again.

We worked hard to make our amazing house to host others while we aren't there.

I'm the seller, I had sent two orders to the same buyer.
Prior to buying, the buyer asked me about some of my used parts, saying how disappointed
he was with other sellers and how he can't believe some people will sell
things.

Prior to the order, I explicitly said "I will never characterize my used
parts as excellent, too many issues with such a positive statement and it's
very much subjective, if you want the best parts, please buy them new".

He said he understood used parts. So he placed the order, asked for a discount
because on some things, he wasn't willing to spend the money I'm asking
for them. He's planning on making sets and reselling for the most part.

He got a $35 discount on an order of $270

He got the parts, not happy and sends me pics. That's a used part and a
good quality used part and he goes off on "I thought I was clear on my standards".

He even has to bend a raised baseplate to highlight a tiny line that doesn't
go through the baseplate as "sub par".

(admittedly, two of the pieces he showed me, out of 95 lots, could have been
cleaner)

Since I had discounted several pieces and not wanting to go back through every
single email to see what I discounted, I said "If you're not happy, just
return the package and I'll refund you, I'll even pay for your return
shipping"

He agrees, but a few days later, he's waiting for a return label. I point
out that I can't generate a return label in his country, and asked he buy
the label and ship, I'll reimburse him for the label and then refund on receipt.

Another few days, another "waiting for the label".
I explain again.

Now, he tells me how disrespected he feels and how I should send him a full refund
and $25 for return shipping and I should "trust him". I advise that's
not how bricklink works,

He then says if he has to go through paypal, I may not get my items back.

So, sick of 20 emails and having to negotiate something he agreed to, I rescinded
the offer for shipping and advised him to do what he'd like to do.

So, he filed a paypal dispute and I've responded to it.

********************************************************
Now, to my question

if he does actually get his money back and doesn't return my product, is
that an NPB?
I don't think it is, but a friend said it could be interpreted that way.

A long time ago, (in a galaxy far far away) I must have bought a

Set No: 10144 Name: Sandcrawler
*
10144-1 (Inv) Sandcrawler
1599 Parts, 11 Minifigures, 2005
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6
likely from here.

I'm in the process of selling all my sets to facilitate a move over seas
so I've been doing a lot of inventorying.

I get to the two sand crawler sets I have, set up wanted lists to begin inventorying
them and realize that one of them still has sealed bags, but not all the bags.

It looks like the minifigs have been removed. I don't recall who I got it
from or if I knew it was minifigless, but that's my issue.

When bags are numbered, it's easier to tell if a certain part is missing,
but there are no numbering on these bags.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could do this without opening sealed
bags. It would be great if I could avoid that.

In particular, this set has 3 brick built minifigs, so while I can see the actual
minifigs are gone, I have no idea if the droids are gone or not.

I have uploaded into my store, almost 400 items in 88 lots of baseplates. Both flat, raised and road.

This is from a bulk buy in 2013, so all baseplates are from before then.

Please feel free to have a look and see if there's anything on your wanted list.

I’m thinking these are misapplied stickers, I’ve looked at the colour guide and
catalog. (But now it’s late)

The top two are blue, the bottom trans red

I've never done shameless (or shameful) self promotion, but I'm going
to give it a try.

I've done my first wave of sorting (category) and I'm doing the counting
and sub-sorting now on what was about 1000 kg of parts.

This was bought in 2009 or so and just never got traction, but I've done
the
bricks
plates
baseplates
slopes
bionicle

and I'm just doing the technic while my wife handles the minifigs.

I'm not putting them live until they all are ready, so maybe a couple of
weeks, but I am going to let those that subscribe to my store have advanced notice
by at least a day before wanted lists go out.

My hope is that it will be close to 300,000 parts (or more).

If older stuff is on your wanted list, maybe click to receive updates from my
store.

Using rebrickable as an idea (again, only uploaded plates, slopes, bricks and
baseplates), I have 70+% of 30 or so Castle sets, space sets (not as high a %
complete because I haven't done wedges or modified stuff yet) and a fair
number of pirate sets.

if you're super curious about a specific set, I can check my rebrickable
file for you.

I am wondering if there is any solution out there that is like Rebrickable for
minifigs.

By that, I mean, you put in your torsos, legs, heads, accessories and whatnot,
and it spits out "you can make these minifigs"

I know I can go through the catalog, pick a torso, find out what parts it uses
for a mini-fig, but that's really labour intensive.

Rebrickable will take all your bricks and tell you what sets you build, I just
want the same thing for minifigs.

Any and all suggestions are very appreciated.

I was thinking the bottom right 2 may have been for Red Cross, but it could be
the Swiss flag as well.

For the one on the left, it’s 3 1 x 6 bricks and not sure if that’s a counterpart
or not since it’s more than one element.

Thanks in advance

I got an order on July 11th.
The buyer sent an email right away asking about shipping. I sent him some shipping
options without reply. I sent him two follow up messages through bricklink,
again, without reply.

When I go to problem order, I get the option to cancel, but not start an NPB.
The order is still in pending status.

According to the order cancellation page on non paying bidder alerts, all three
conditions are satisfied,
1) i am the seller
2) it's been more than 7 days
3) it's in the correct status.

Any ideas? any issues that I've missed in the forum?

Listening to this YouTube, the creator seems to be Mark Staffa from Georgia.
Wondering if anyone has ever seen instructions or know the designer

I've looked at the catalog entries and I can't, for the life of me, figure
out what the difference between

Part No: 30033 Name: Plate, Modified 2 x 2 with Bar Frame Octagonal
*
30033 Plate, Modified 2 x 2 with Bar Frame Octagonal
Parts: Plate, Modified
and

Part No: 75937 Name: Plate, Modified 2 x 2 with Bar Frame Octagonal, Reinforced, Completely Round Studs
*
75937 Plate, Modified 2 x 2 with Bar Frame Octagonal, Reinforced, Completely Round Studs
Parts: Plate, Modified

it mentions completely round stud and reinforced, but i don't see it
