Yes. They look too high.

No there is no list.

  Hi,

is there a list of Lego pieces known to have no Lego logo?

I have a Emperor Palpatine minifig (sw0634), all pieces are marked with the Lego
logo except the headgear (30381 - black).

I read somewhere that Lego did not include the logo on all pieces until 2013,
and since the specific piece appeared in 1999 I guess it could be original, even
if the figure itself came out in 2015.

I cannot say for sure that all pieces came from the same set, so my question
if is the hood still can be an original Lego piece - or is fake?

If the seller admitted to intentionally selling you fake Lego (which it sounds
like he did), you should report him with your evidence and his store should be
closed.

That's unacceptable and hurts the reputation of all Bricklink sellers.

In Help, bluesnose2 writes:

i was buying genuine new Lego string.
The items arrived and i could tell straight away that the strings were not Lego,
the seller eventually got back to me and admitted the string was not from Lego,
it was a generic replacement, so off a spool of some description.

So my question, do we sell fake none Lego on this site, no matter what it is?

The amount of money you can expect completely depends on how much time you want
to spend on it. If you’re not interested in becoming a long term lego reseller,
you should probably use bricklink to get an idea of what used sets are selling
for (average sold price), group the sets with their correct figures, and then
sell on a local marketplace.

You can probably easily get between 50-75% of the bricklink price if you take
pics of your sets and plan to sell individually.

And yes $200 is ridiculously low. You mention ships. If that’s pirate ships and
you mean Queen Anne’s revenge or the black pearl, one ship is with double that
initial offer. Some rare Star Wars figs can also go for $50+ for a single fig.

Good luck.

In Selling, RyanJatho writes:
Hey guys my older brother is ready to get rid of his legos. We have like every
harry potter set, star wars sets, ships, bionicals, everything and I have no
idea where to start. They are loose sets like 95% complete and we have bins full
of loose bricks that belong to said sets.

Right now someone is offering me $200 for it all and it just seems low. Im on
mobile so its kinda hard to post everything here.

But how should I start?

This happened with a 21016 Sungnyemun set (still for sale in my store). My understanding
is that some parts were manufactured in different countries during this time.
Some of the plates are completely discolored (not partial as you would expect
from sun damage). Also, some interior parts which would not have had any exposure
to the sun are discolored. It is also limited to specific parts like 1x3 plates.

Nothing you can really do except note the differences in the listing.

My guess is the original owner (as a kid obsessed with pirate ships) had damaged
the sails (likely ripped the holes in the corners) and his parents decided to
make replacements. These do not look like Lego.

In Catalog Identification, WildBricks writes:
These are the exact same shape and size as the fabric sails that I purchased
in 1 big lot of LEGO. They are, what I am guessing is paper, with some sort of
plastic coating on them. I received them in a huge lot from a guy whose dad was
a diplomat in Europe and was obsessed with pirate ships as a kid. The entire
100+ pounds I got from him contained NO non-LEGO so I think these are most probably
LEGO, but can't seem to find them anywhere.

3,000 orders

Thanks all!

Actually, I believe the answer is no. For the same reason you don't need
to include additional plumes that came on a wheel for example. A brick separator
is not "necessary to build all the models in the instructions" As always,
if your used set listing differs from the actual Bricklink inventory, you should
note it in the description.

Complete - Set contains all parts necessary to build all of the models (including
alternate models) in the instructions but does not have to contain the original
box/packaging and/or extra parts.

Yup, it's in the inventory.

So I’d recommend 50% off what you’re trying to get. Sometimes sets just don’t
sell for no apparent reason too. I’ve had a complete set listed as the cheapest
in the world and it sat over 2 years while others sold that were more expensive.

I think I know the set you're referring to, and all but one of those sales
was less than yours. I think in this particular instance people are willing
to hold out. Just a hunch really.

As for the OP, with all the stuff that is missing, I think you basically have
an assembly of relatively common black bricks. The 150 price suggestion from
others seems pretty fair.

I know it's been said before, but if you just set hide cancelled posts, you

I check the forum several times a day and see maybe 1 gummy post a month and
it's gone pretty quickly.

Don't worry if you do get a negative feedback. It will not affect anything
for a buyer to get 1 negative with hundreds of positives. Especially if you
are polite in your feedback comment and response.

You should file an NSS if the seller sent you used that was advertised as new
and he's not responding. Do NOT let it slide. This just encourages him
to continue to deceive buyers and the problem continues to propagate.

Just my opinion of course.

In Problem Order, amvdamian writes:
Can a seller retaliate by leaving me negative feedback if I file NSS?

I bought a couple of Batman minifigs from a seller. Some are listed as NEW and
some USED.

Got my shipment, and two of the NEW minifigs came with somewhat frayed capes.
Obviously not new but these will be displayed behind a frame so I will let those
pass.

However, one of the NEW minifigs has a cracked cowl on the chin and obvious white
stress marks at the corners of the chinstrap.

I sent the seller a message through BL (now already marked as "read"
but no response. I did also send him a direct email with the photos.

I am thinking giving him a couple more days to a week to reply, and if not then
I will file a NSS case.

It depends on how much time you want to spend, but you could get between 10%
and 400% of the initial cost. Part of your problem is that you have such a large
quantity and no single “end user” is going to want it. Selling it all at once
will only be possible to a reseller who will be looking to make 3x on it at least.
Lowest to highest in my opinion:
- Take a single picture, don’t describe and throw it up on a local marketplace.
10%
- take a few good pics (including most or all figs/animals/instructions (to “prove
near completeness” on valuable sets) and list all sets that you have. 20-40%
depending on where you live (big city?)
- sell all the figs and valuable parts. This takes investigation into what parts
are in the set and what they’re worth. Then sell the rest as bulk. Maybe 75-100%
depending on themes you own.
- separate into sets and sell on local marketplace individually (50% to 150%
depending on theme, etc)
- same as above but on bricklink. Slightly more, but longer to sell.
- part out the entire collection and become a bricklink seller. Enormous time
commitment and it will take years to fully sell even if priced low. 150-400%
depending on set rarity, condition, etc.

In General, SDF_Bricks writes:
I have a fairly large collection, spanning over 20 years, and stored/sorted in
200+ boxes, including Technic, City, Ninjago, Bionicle, Friends, and many many
more. These include over 300 minifigs, and many unique/rare parts/sets (eg. Scorpion
Pyramid, Village Market, ...). I have little time to sort through and rebuild
all the sets. I'm looking for input as to what is the best way to sell all
at once. My initial investment was over $50k.

1. Any thoughts on how to liquidate everything ASAP?
2. Would selling everything by the pound on eBay be an option? - Not very attractive
I'm sure.

Thoughts are appreciated.

It looks same as 1978 - 1979 Classic city doctor figure perhaps the 623-1 set?
However, it has a different sticker on it which is the same design as the later

I can't even find this sticker as a part either?

Any help would be gratefully received.

I'll be upfront about it, if its super rare I am thinking of selling it.

Unfortunately there are a large number of sellers who think “new” means good
condition and don’t care if it’s actually been used for display (or even play).
If you didn’t receive the original packaging and all extra parts, the seller
did not ship you what you ordered. If he doesn’t make it right to your satisfaction,
you could file an NSS.

In Buying, MiniRoz writes:

a dozen collectible sets, and I was super disappointed when I saw that none of
the extra parts were included. That might sound petty, but hear me out - I often
buy new, complete minifig sets because they contain parts that are exclusive
to them, and I’m counting on the extras being included.
So, if the extras are not included, should the set be considered “complete”?

New Complete should include the extras:
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=102

… unless, it’s Sealed and it’s LEGO’s fault there’s no extras.

They were removed from LEGO packaging and shipped in plastic bags, so can’t blame
it on them Thank you for the info; I was really uncomfortable contacting the
seller about the missing parts (I do my best to avoid confrontation on the interwebs
- I don’t know how trolls do it), but I’ll reach out and see what they say. Thank
you!!!

Taking a quick look at your store, you probably need to change all of these to
used. You also are not allowed to say "like new" or "new condition"
for used parts. The listings will get removed if reported.

This would seem to help every seller who's been open since pre-2020 the equivalent
amount on average, but benefiting sellers selectively based on luck of when they
got their neutrals. In your case, you'd benefit disproportionately since
only 1 of your 5 neutrals and complaints from 2020 seems to be a USPS problem.

In Suggestions, BricksOnTheMove writes:

feedback and Negative feedback from 2020. I care about my customers and appreciate
having positive feedback to help build my store percentage.

This is why I wish there was some way for buyers to report to Bricklink admins
instances of suspected or confirmed instances of getting used when buying new.
X% and Y total number of “strikes” would lead to a suspension followed by eventual
ban.

There are a lot of obvious stores that are doing this.

It seems like there is an increase in sellers listings USED figs as being in
NEW condition, but they put some like “looks new” or “like new” in the comments.
When I’m buying figs for my own collection, I’ll take the time to read the comments
and it’s not a huge deal. As a seller, however, it drives me nuts. When someone
lists a used fig as new, they usually sell it for well under the 6 month average,
which obviously affects what buyers believe is the average cost for actual new
figures. I know what they’re doing goes against BrickLink’s policy, but they
either didn’t get the memo or they don’t care.
As sellers, does this drive you bananas or do you just shrug it off? Do you keep
