I would accept the return for a full refund minus s&h. Customer responsible
for paying return shipping. Doing this you are out nothing. Yes you lost a
sale but you would still have the minifigs that sold immediately on listing so
should sale again in a reasonable amount of time.

I listed over 30 used Clone Troopers on my store, which were sharpied by the
original owner and then mostly cleaned off by me. I clearly had it stated in
the condition comment area and said contact me about photos. A buyer did contact
me and asked for photos, which I sent. He then said they were worse than he thought
and asked if I would go down on the price. I told him that since I had only just
listed them I was firm on the price but would consider giving a discount/lowering
the price if they were still on my page after a month or so with no interest.
He asked for more photos which I sent and then asked for a detailed condition
list. So I went through them all and told him 0 cracked torso, a somewhat lose
helmet, and 5 cracked arms. He bought them, they arrived and he just reached
out about a potential return. He did not say the condition was bad, just that
he has tried to clean them more but doesn't want to now. On one hand I do
feel bad that he is unhappy with his purchase, but I also know he knew exactly
what I was sending. I have never had to do a return in my store before and wonder
if I should accept this or not. If I do accept it, despite it not being in my
terms currently, is it right to say since it is not a condition issue and a change
of mind we should agree on a partial refund, original shipping, $1 packing fee,
USPS insurance, and return shipping being his responsibility. Thank you in advance
for any advice moving forward.

Please show sellers whether or not they are currently eligible and showing up
as a highlighted store. Also, please be more specific in the description as to
how sellers are eligible or not, and maybe reduce the 6 month ban if they close
their store. Many reputable sellers close their stores from time to time, or
even daily, 6 months is a long time not to be eligible, just because they closed
their store for a day or two.

Thank you for considering this,

Darren

Thumbs up on this for me. I occasionally close my store for any vacation more
than a week but now it seems it would be better to leave it open and just message
buyers when order comes in that it will be delayed. Not optimal for me since
I try to always send out within 24 hours but if it means more of a chance to
be highlighted than so be it. (Of course this is assuming I make it into the
reputable store category)
